The pirate dwarf is waiting at the finish line with the prize and and the loser will be shot by the Kriegans. ;D Now I have the Wacky Races tune stuck in my head...  |

Well tonight I almost finished my entry. Almost. Too bad it's too late. I'll post a pic up when I get chance. Just tried taking a photo using the iPad, but the camera sucks balls.

Well done to 'B'! That was the one I voted for. Although all entries where amazing, the thing I liked about this one was the imaginitivity of each model.

Thanks to everyone who entered, the standard was again really high, and it's great to still be surprised and amazed by how good the entries are! Rats! I've been defeated! *Executes Krieg guardsman for not having enough swagger* Great job everyone! The entries were awesome. As soon as I saw all the entries I knew it would be a tough match. Can't wait to enter another GG competition. Probably not until summer though |

thanks alot guys... to be honest i was actually very suprised... the quality of A and E, i thought were very high ...
as you can see ive removed pedo-bear to make way for my swanky new banner...
the command squad was alot of fun to make, i tried to go all out on the sculpting to represent the added carapace armour... and my favourite bit was making the chest mounted radio and rolled up whip antenna on the crouching radioman.
staff sergent knarl is my faverite though... he lloks such a badass standing there with him autogun and grenade launcher.. he wasnt intended to be in the ccs but when i made the necron and ork... he just seemed to fit.
all in all for this project i brought...
box of necrons
box of ork boys
box of catachan command
3 40mm bases
1 60mm base
and a few items from stock.
overall i just wanted to make a command squad to fit with the rest of my army...
i think next time i will be putting larger pics up... photoshop told me that was a very large picture but when it was posted it ended up alot smaller than expected..

Wow... thats a whole load of bits brought together to construct your squad... mind you, my plan was to enter an ork fortress and it just didn't get anywhere close to completion!!
Needless to say it incorporated many bits a pieces, form vulcan mega bolter, 3 chimera turrets, battlewagon accessories, an ork warbuggy, 2 gorkamorka trukks, an old radio controlled car, some wood, sizable sections from the new ork trukks, and much muuch more.. I will be presenting it in it's own thread soon!
PS.. thanks to all you lovely people who voted for my entry!! I am really touched that you thinkit worthy of a vote over the INCREDIBLE entries posted by other (better) painters.. I thinka lot of the votes are more for Forgeworld than me!

It was hard to decide who to vote for.. Also judging vehicles and infantry together is extremely tricky.

Da supa kannon is already gettin' boom wrote onta it.. maybe I put 'is nam across da driva's view slit, like sharun n dafe but horkonnen insted!

Keep them coming Empirespy, it was by no means a 'lousy' entry and it's great that you entered. I hope you learnt a bit painting the farseer and that you had fun trying some new techniques, as that's what I'd like the competitoin to be about, having great looking models in our collections!
