I got IA8 as soon as it came out and so was one of the first to be disappointed and confused.
I wasted no time in calling them for clarification and below are the "clarifications" that I was looking for.
I should have posted these straight away but I was a bit busy/tired/forgot/distracted.
Long Range Ground Scanner
The 1-4 troops carrying the LRGS may embark onto a Valkyrie or the Vendetta variant.
The LRGS is still operative while the carrying vehicle moves at any speed.
The 1-4 man squad can move, fire, run or assault without affecting the LRGS operation.
Tactic “In Utero”
Embark the LRGS squad into a V-Dett and run stand-off attacks while the LRGS squad assist Vox-C equipped squads with their shooting.
Lascutter
A Lascutter can be taken in addition to, not in replacement of a Lasgun.
Auxiliary Grenade Launcher
A one shot attachment to the Lasgun only. Must be fired instead of, not as well as, the Lasgun.
Range 12"
Str. 6
AP 4
Type Asst 1
Homing Beacon
Any unit attempting to deep strike within 12” of the beacon (you may pre-measure), may re-roll the scatter dice if they wish to.
The beacon carrier may move, shoot, run or assault as normal without affecting the Homing Beacon operation.
Tactic “Trojan Eagle”.
A squadron of three Tauros with heavy flamers.
They advance toward a given group of targets in extended line but stay 18” from the target if the Heavy Flamer can damage the target but preferably very close to targets with a high AV value where the Heavy Flamer will be ineffective.
Most often the Tauros Squadron are ignored as they don’t appear to pose an immediate threat.
The left and right Tauros have Homing Beacons providing a large drop zone that a good chance of not scattering.
Down come two or three Vet squads with 3 Melta-G each. Or up to six Multi-Melta armed drop Sentinels.
Vehicles are opened up by the Meltas, Tauros Squadron rapid advance to cook up any contents of the vehicles.
Tauros Rapid Assault Vehicle
A single Tauros can fit into a V-Dett as well as a valkyrie as the V-Dett is not a separate type of airframe, just a variant of the Valkyrie. Does not apply to the Tauros Venator.
Any Immobilised result, no matter how it is reached benefits from the “Galvanic Motors” rule
Tactic “Peel ‘n’ Fry”.
I Put each of my tauros with heavy Flamers in their own V-Dett. Vehicles such as Devilfish or Land Raiders are peeled open as the V-Detts are on finals of their attack run.
Tauros disembark and use Heavy Flamers to fry the contents.
Vendetta dedicated transport.
As the V-Dett is a Valkyrie variant it can be taken as a dedicated transport.
Elysian Veterans
Elysian Veterans have the same stat line as the Vets in the standard IG Codex.
Weapons
The Bomb/Heavy Bomb
The Bomb and Heavy Bomb are the same thing and share the same stats.
They are are used by scattering from anywhere on the previous moves flight path.
Range 0 and Scatter
Str. 6
AP 4
Type Apoc Barrage
Sky Strike Missile
The Sky Strike Missile benefits from an AA tracker similar in effect as the one on a Hydra and has the following stat line.
Range 60"
Str. 7
AP 3
Type Hvy 1
