My method to spray paint in rain, get cardboard box, turn on side, place models at back if windy as well...stand side ways to the wind and hold can just inside box. this should stop you spray painting the objects down wind and stop you breathing in the fumes. Yep that's more or less how I do it, but my concern is the temperature. I noticed that the GW black primer gives the best results when it is not too cold when you apply it. But I was lucky today !! no clouds and temp around 14C so now it is painting the next weeks....... Squad advancing Squad grenadiers company command squad platoon command squad 2 lascannons 1 centaur so no more assembling before these are done...... ;D

........stupid enough there is no 231st................... Have a hunt on the internet, there's places that do custom decals and they aren't too expensive.

Nice looking base. I've been attempting to make some sandbags with greenstuff, they haven't really turned out too well. I'm wondering how you made yours, they look pretty good.

thanks Silenti, I used some model pasta / clay I bought 1/2 kilo for 1 euro in a toy shop. it dry in the air in a couple of hours, so I let it stand for a night giving it time, together with the sandy modeling pasta.

Hi guys I´m back. I was rather buisy last weeks with work and private life. I could only spend a few hours per week painting. But.... the good news is that my 2nd squad (the advancing) is finished. About the bases I am not sure. I kept them lighter than the ones of the first squad to be more representative for the sulfer surface of Krieg, but I am not sure. I did not used the weather powders yet, like I did with the 40mm round base for my commissar. I think I should do that. what do you think? I don´t like the rifles bending back after a while (see last pic), I use hot water to put them in shape, cool them of with cold water. They look good then, but after a few day´s they are getting back their old shape. enoying Thank you for watching and comments & critics are welcome

Hello, thank you all for the kind and encouraging words Although I've worked 70 hours this week, I've been able to finish the Lascannons Heavy Weapen team . The 1st Platoon turned out really nice and I am happy with them. Now wait briefly until the reserves arrived. Meanwhile, some photographs update thank you for watching .

Really nice stuff, and good to see this force is expanding. I see a CL, a solid platoon , a LR and a good ole stormie squad. Can we hope for some veterans in the future ?
PS. I like the whole horse idea, not in a gay kind of way but in a more sensual, seductive kind of way

DKoK veterans are all grenadiers, then watch masters then officers. Their method is when a linesman does well he gets promoted to a grenadier, he survives he can become a watch master. I'm guessing they do have some in training who become officers else they'd have none. (Grenadiers are lucky if 1 in 10 will survive!)
Still amazing bases and work, are you making a bit of a winter war DKoK force?
