I was thinking about starting a third army, and it being the dark eldar...the reason being i love the thought of raiding planets and basically being a space pirate army...anyone else have a DE army and are there anys suggestions you could give me..ie unit choices and such. Thanks

the dark eldar warriors are amazing. for the same points as a regular eldar guardian you get +1WS, BS and I. the only downside is a weaker gun. they also have some extremely cpable guns as well that can make up for it. the ravager tank is a lethal anti-tank vehicle. 3 dark lances at BS4!

Dark Eldars are the fastest army you can have. They have lots of raiders (skimmer, fast, open topped and cheap!!). their warriors are very good at shooting and Close combat (think of witch...) But they are very fragile...st 3, open topped vehicules but if you can get get on the ennemy very rapidly, he will be in panic!!! even the mighty smurfs!!! Ahahahahaha!!!!!

*Slaps blackdeath REALLY REALLY REALLY HARD!
Your going to end up with a warning if you keep digging up topics that died last year. Thats what the "« Reply #7 on Today at 10:56am »" bit is for, so you can see when it died, we generally dont dig up topics that died 3 weeks ago. Unless it needs to be looked at again, and Dark elder dont need to be looked at unless its Tactics to kill them.

i oppose that last post.
dark eldar are VERY deadly. my "little sleeper" (as my khornate friend refers to my leader) killed a bloodthirster. 1 on 1 combat.
i was rather impressed considering it was my second battle using the true kin.

only if the person you are playing against has never learned tactics and is a complete idiot. . They are very good and very fast you can pack alot into a 2000 point game. lets see i have a list around here somewhere [rumages through room] well i cant find it right now but i know what it had. 1 Lord, 3 Hemuculie, Grotesques, Mandrakes, 2 units of 20 warriors with 2 dark lance in each squad. 2 squads of 10 with 1 dark lance and blaster in raiders. 2 units of 6 bikes, scourges, talos, Ravagers. narsty Cheers Dethklok

But speed and stealth aint really accustomed with da smash and burn tactics of the guard, isnt it a little hard juggling different schemes?

yeah, its quite difficult changing your playstlye... i.e remember to go forward with DE as fast a s possbile, buit adavance slower with IG.
where the IG are a hammer. the DE are a small pocket knife, quick and deadly when used right.
