This is 6.28AM uk time.... Helena (my wife) just woke me "can you get me a glass of juice please?" . After I told her to F-off a few times I realised the constant "oh go on... Please for me... Go on" nagging would keep me up anyway, so as always I agreed. When I got to the kitchen I fed Toby the tiny Labrador and then I saw my models... Well I'm wake now (just) and now I'm painting...
Oh S#\+ her juice...!

The joys of marriage... (Don't get me wrong, I am deeply in love with my wife and would do anything for her). Great looking models thus far, I like the detail you are putting into the other conversions such as the gun carriages. Are you going to add the shoulder fringed epaulettes or are you going to leave them blank? They look a little rough at this point and could either do with a bit of smoothing or adding of the epaulettes to cover up the rough patch.

These guys look brilliant, I hope to see more pics soon.
Why do rough riders, pretorian and mordian veteran squads and commissars suddenly burst to mind ?
I haven't read the fluff but I guess these guys fight feral orks or something ?

Sorry I ain't uploaded pics yet. Been busy wrighting a sequel to the origanly story and getting ready a charictor sorted (and other players) for Dark Heressy RP as well as trying to sort out my MGBs back axle (bastard thing!) but have finished a test model and I'll upload the pic soon. Odd, a few people have mentioned the shoulders looking rough... They look alright in the flesh... If not I'll re sculpt them! I wont be doing shoulder bits mind. Pretorians have the real hairy one, but I'm actually Anglo-Zulu war who did not have hairy shoulder pads, although they did have straps right at the ridge of the neck to sholder but this is Coverd by the flack vest. For all the people who fancy reading the story it's under fluff as 'the mutant within", it geanstealer cultist at the mo, it's had a load of view but no comments... I think people are intimidated by the length (I know my wife was ) the one I'm wrighting now is against Tau including the 'savage' kroot.

Thanks. I honestly did not keep the flack to be lazy. I actualy just tried the heads on the body and they looked real smart. Also I'd you loom at how the Anglo-Zulu war British had there White straps (two on each aide and two across or 1 diagonal) then in pretty much covers the same area as that vest.

I'm still unsure about it but you can't see most of the body anyway. Where'd the heads come from again?

Maxmini. They heads look better in the flesh than maxmini's image. As you say, you can hardly see the vests. Also, they are Based on Anglo-Zulu war British not 'Are'. For example, in the future a Martini-Henry, breech-loading single-shot rifle would be useless and so would the troops not taking armour. So I see them as imperialist Brits of the future.

Might have a crack at something similar, think I would use the victoria lamb arms and maybe the heads too though.

Next batch I get I might use VL heads and then mix them in to give more varierty. She also does some nice torsos if you prefer none flack armourd bodies .

Yeah I do like the none flack armour bodies but I'm not sure I can afford splashing out on them. However that may change.

Looking excellent sir.
Perhaps the drummer could represent a vox officer, signalling with different drum rhythms and the like.

Hi all. Not a bad idia for the drummer, at the moment he's just a count as Srg for the second squad (so the Srg model is suppose to have a lasgun, as the rules don't let him the drummer takes that place for the rules... If that makes sence) .
Thanks for your comment's, you might have to keep your eyes pealed for a update as I'm busy at the moment. But as soon as I can I'll have a unit (Inc Hev wep) painted for you all.
