Welcome brother. It is good to see another taking the superior path of the Eldar. I wish you well as you rain death down upon all those who oppose the holy Eldar.
Cheers Dethklok

even though that one took a while it seems to be easier in the line doing one colour at a time to the other 9 so it wont take long at all...
Thanks for all the great comments guys

your welcome, and an hour and a half is worth it in the end, or you could batch paint, basecoat blue, then do the white etc

dang goddess, that's one sweet dire avenger! another coat of white wouldn't hurt on the head just to make it a really solid white, but that's a beautiful model! I still think you should go mech eldar it's nice to have such massive amounts of movement available to you I hear. sounded last we talked like you are more into a static defensive eldar army though, tell us what you're thinking of for units? I think you said something about fire dragons and banshees.. the fire dragons need a transport I know that, and banshees are best used as transport troops too where they can get a free ride in and avoid all the fire that would shred their modest armor. it also helps that they can fleet of foot so they can make it back to remount in the transport quickly after annihilating their opponent in one shot. you might try a farseer with the 'doom' power to accompany your banshees, it allows you to reroll all your failed 'to wound' rolls so when you're going against T4 armies like marines and need 5+ to wound it gets alot more deadly for the power armor clad clumsy monkeighs fire dragons are hard not to use as one shot wonders where they roll in in a falcon, jump out and waste a tank then die to retributive fire. holding them back in a quick moving falcon till turn 3 or 4 might allow you the time to soften up the units who'll be producing that retributive fire when the dragons go in and smack down the armored target. just a thought, might work, might get you pie plated far more than neccessary some long range fire prism sniping would go a long way with this strategy though (though at that point, why not just destroy the armor with the fire prism heh). ahh the intricacies of 40k.

Ok guys....I have done the following:
10 guardians, starcannon (not painted yet) Autach (also not painted yet)
the Dire avenger exarch has now got 2 shuriken catapults and looks extremely tough.
and finally to take these models up to 500pts i need to get a unit of Scorpions and i will be able to have a game.
On a side note i am not going to be making a biel-tan army anymore....but an Alaitoc army instead

Ha, ha! Goddes wrote "the Dire avenger exarch has now got 2 shuriken catapults and looks extremely tough." You've made me laugh! A tough looking Eldar! no such thing!
They look really nice. I especially like the hand painted symbols on the helmets. Very sharp.

hey, dire avengers are really sweet now compared to what they used to be. that ability to shoot the catapults as assault 3 is sweet since you just follow up with a charge!
