Righto Chaps, it's time for me to update you all on what I've been mucking about with as of recently. I'll be keeping some of the projects secret for the Golden Guardsman contest (though a sneak peek will be offered at the IGMB meet-up), but for now, here's my men! - The Renegade Guardsmen: The small, rag-tag force of corrupted Guardsmen currently only numbers two members: Lord Humongous and the Gimp, but is in the process of being expanded. The Beastmen: Currently six Gors strong, my beastmen project has been one of my oldest and longest-running irregulars project, intended to provide me a force of penal troopers. Yes, they're bloody heavily armed for beastmen, but they're more likely to use those hi-tech pistols as clubs than firing them. One of my favourites - Skorpion machine pistol. The nominal leader of the pack: The Cultists: Eight men strong, these have been one of the simplest (and more pleasurable) of my modelling projects, and one of the most successful painting projects. A simple mix of Vraks arms and Flagellent bodies. My personal favourite of them - Crazy McCrazy Another personal favourite. The nutter with the automatic shotgun Looted the fallen, got a flashlight. And now.... The Mercenaries (Selected works) My first support gunner, now with a proper drum magazine (but no bipod), looking hardass as ever. The man with no name. No, YOU get hot! Slash and burn Combat engineer Demo-man! And now, for some of the workbench projects... Muties! CHARGE! Tankbuster

DAMN RT!!!!!
Where have you been with your minis? Mostly you show me what you've done through Skype(which obviously won't show detail) I didn't know you had this talent.
The best part is that they are each different. I mean really different. Like individuals.
Remarkable man.

I really, really like the Cultists! They could make great Redemptionist stand-ins...

That grenadier with the shotgun just looks brilliant; would make a great stand-in arbitrator/ enforcer/ copper in some Necromunda type skirmish game. Excellent painting and use of washes.

Aaaaaand the Nurgle cultists, in order of painting. Mildly successful at first, got much better later on.

These look really good, especially for snappies. In the last picture the cultist on the left has very scabby arms and even gangrenous stuff coming out - brilliant effect there.

They don't look particularily Nurglish to me, BUT they do look grubby. It's really annoying to see Chaos cultists looking like they dressed up for a parade. Still, very good.

Good to know you're still kicking around as well. Hopefully these lot will look a bit more plague-ridden. (It's kind of hard to get the plague-ridden effect with the Dark Vengeance Cultists without resorting to Green Stuff intestines.) Now the assault fireteam. Oops. Forgot one.

Hah. Thanks. I still occasionally lurk and comment, as you can see.
Your new batch is certainly more icky looking. I particularily like the left guy in the top picture. He looks cray-cray and sunburnt.

Great effect on the bionic eye, it looks quite sickening.
With regards to converting the DV cultists, you could just do simple head swaps to make some more nurgly ones. Zombie heads could work if you can get them from a bitz site or the wargames factory zombies box.

And now a long-awaited update on the Nurgle cultist project. But first Should these guys go to Papa Nurgle, or should I paint them up in Khornate colours? The camber on the support weapon barrel has been addressed, btw The current 7-man Nurgle fireteam Some WIPs, going to make up another 7-man fireteam.

They all look great, but for me the Beastman with the missile launcher is all kinds of win! Keep them coming, it's a very unique force!

I think they should be Nurgle worshippers.
For the one with the Friar Tuck head try cutting the annoying monk hairstyle off by gently slicing it off with a sharp scalpel. Then smooth it by back-scraping around the head with your scalpel. Then get a tiny bit of green stuff and a biro pen. Put the green stuff on the bald bonce roughly where a crew-cut would be, then just keep poking the GS with the biro until Friar Tuck has an afro. (Great chainmail on that model by the way)
