I've finally decided to get to work on painting my guard army. I was a thinking of a blue fatigues and grey armor paintscheme. I believe I have nothing to do with painting and such, so I don't really desire to have intricate painting to do on my models. My biggest problem right now is what paint brand, Vallejo or GW, and what paints to order. I don't really have any kind of hobby store in the city I live in, so I can't really ask anyone for advice.

Most people will tell you to buy Vallejo. I use GW, but mostly because I like to keep my paints all the same brand.

Vallejo. If this is a brand new project then I would order some Vallejo paints They're cheaper, bigger bottles, they're dropper bottles and they have a better pigment. You can order them from 'Creative Models', just search on Google for it

Look on the "Armypainter" website. They sell a load of spray paints that you can use as the undercoat and base coat. This means you can build your minis, spray them, paint the armour and weapon and then wash the model with devlan mud or badab black and le voila 1 completed army done quick time with out the need to be amazing at painting!
