Hopefully my proofreading helped a bit.
Also, Optimat is awesome.

Thanks for the appreciation, both.
It's really easy (for some) because it only uses 2 main formulae, and I had to do some Google searching to figure out what exactly I needed to do when things went wrong so I consider it public and therefore will happily share how it was done - as the sheets aren't locked feel free to use the 'Data' Sheet to modify it into your other uses.
The first important formula:
=RANDBETWEEN(A,B) Believe it or not is giving a random number between number A and number B. The formula refreshes a new number each time you force a change on the sheet, hence the method used to 'roll the dice' on the front end. Put this somewhere so that you can understand it. You will see in the 'Data' sheet there are columns and it made sense to make this cell the row after the field details.
Secondly:
=LOOKUP(valueA,arrayB) This handily does what was difficult for the code monkeys to do, as it's already been written and scripted. I felt like cheating a little when I did it. Simply make a table, the first column is the numbers on the dice, the second (and onwards) are the corresponding options. You will see this in the 'Data' sheet of the file.
Because you (should) have already created a cell for each field that generates a random number between say... 1 and 3 (d3) you already have a cell for valueA. With the table you select your arrayB like so:
Column A F ---------------------------- Row17|| 1 | Option1 Row18|| 2 | Option2 Row19|| 3 | Option3
EDIT- Ah, the forum quite rightly doesn't allow for spammed spaces, so you will have to imagine the order, sorry.
=LOOKUP(valueA,A17:A19,F17:F19)
The above formula should be in a cell which is separate from the table perhaps 2/3 rows down, as this will generate the 'answer'. Then, every time you refresh the sheet, the random number changes and the answer changes to match what you put.
The front page bit was just to make it look somewhat nice, and just used the same answer cell as a reference.
So if you plan on making more the above and some reverse engineering should get you what you want. If you need some help feel free to PM me.

In the enemies you've mentionned the archenemy, I presume their Chaos Space Marines ? As for Imperial organisation , more rivalry than prefferred enemy ? Or are you suggesting inter regimental combat ?

A physical appearance section could be useful, I mean regiments vary from afriel strain and abhumans to cadian with purple eyes

Like you say, "rivalry" is implied by being at odds with another Imperial organization, but they may come to blows, or sabotage one another. If you've read the Gaunt's Ghosts series, there are a few cases of intentional fratricide. Remember, an enemy can be a direct threat, a rival, or someone working behind the scenes to hinder you. "Archenemy" refers to Chaos in general. This can be a traitor IG unit, something like the Blood Pact, or CSM.
As for appearence, I actually did consider it, but felt it fell outside the scope of what I was trying to do with this, and was more of a trait of the world they were from, rather than their fighting units. If I were to do a world generator, I would certainly include that. The Dark Heresy and Rogue Trader rulebooks have some good tables for appearances for individual characters, but if there's something in there you like, I don't see why it couldn't be extrapolated to the majority of the world's population.

Excellent, it would be interesting to randomly generate a force with your generator (That sounded gay) and be forced to assemble and paint it up.
Could make for interesting campaigns I mean we all like to give our fluff the "cool, semi autonomous, over powered fluff" but this generator could put a stop to that

Would people prefer to click one button and get all the details or click multiple buttons to get them?

There's an error that causes an option of Unit Gender to be Xenos. While this is hilarious, it doesn't work too well for the less radical Imperial Citizens. It also makes "mixed" a terrifying result.
