I finally have my entry arrived, got two days straight off work soon planned for painting time. I have no expectations to win but it gets me motivated!

Same here, There are some truly epic people on the forum, so I just see how good I can get. I'm really pleased with what I did, it's all finished now, but I've decided to do something else, as it's a cooler idea, fits in with the competition better and I've got everything I need to do it already (I'll make a start tomorrow...) |

I'm afraid you'll be sadly dissapointed with mine, as it isn't even an attempt to win, merely an excuse to paint something I've had in the Drawers of Doom for around 5 years.....

Yep, and they're amazing. HAHAHA to anyone who thought they'd be in for an easy ride, Macknight has gone in heavy with this one! If this were poker, I'd probably fold......  I've not done much more on my entry, been wrestling with Fidei some these past few days, I want to break the shin guard barrier then I can crack on with the rest of it. I've nearly finished my entry from the LAST competition though! ;D |

Ah I'm sad to say I'm going to chicken out. My entry really isnt going the way I wanted to and now that my week off has been wasted doing things like being with my girlfriend and helping my mother, I haven't had enough time for painting either! So my entries are indefinitely suspended. I posted the half way pictures in my own thread for some C&C if those who are still entering would be kind enough to help me get them to where I want them to be.
Considering these are my first ever tanks they are okay but still didn't go to plan, and I drastically miscalculated how long they were going to take. I don't know how you guys do it!
Maybe next time I'll have an entry I can get started on in time to finish.

I don't know how you guys do it! Shame to hear you wont take part, best of luck for the next one. And it's amazing the amount of time you have whe nur single, have no hot water for showers and don't attend any lectures.  |
