Had the fastest game i've ever had last night..

Deployment was Pitched Battle and mission was Seize ground... 4 objectives.. Placed Center and left flank.. 12" apart..
I lost the role off, and got told to go first.
I deploy nothing..
Opponent deploys: 2 x Dreads (Center) and a whirlwind (Left flank)

Turn 1
IG: Crickets...
SM: Both Tac Marine (w/ Vulcan) drops down center of the board towards my deployment zone, both scatter 3 / 5 inches closer to my table edge.
Whirlwind and Dreads shuffle closer to support the Tac Marines who has combat squaded (Sgt/Melta).

Turn 2
IG: Reserves see that everything except CCS and 1 x Melta veterans come on.. Vendettas outflank.
I roll on my tanks and infantry on both flanks (Manticore and Lemans on the right flank out of range of anything short of the deep striking Speeders.
Shooting, 2 x combat squads go down to Battle cannons, multi laser, lasguns and plasmaguns.. A third falls back thanks to Weaken resolve and some casualites caused by the large blasts from the Lemans. (Will be within 6" of 1 of my units next turn)
Whirlwind gets weapon destroyed and immobilised, a dread gets its arms blown off, all from Vendetta shooting...
Both droppods are shaken/stunned..
SM: Extends his hand and say, well we can both see where this is going.. Starts to pack up his army..

My fastest 40K game in 5th edition..
This time the BatRep was shorter.. Nicer to read, worse to play..
