I have a feeling that it is an IMEX / Technolog / Pegasus product.. have a look on the warstore www.thewarstore.com/IMEXPlatformerHexagon.htmlPs.. Dave - I'm not slagging off GW, I'm lettting others know there are better ways to spend money when in GW, and it is not on the rubbish spray gun thingy.. it is really really awful! like, really really really awful... Airbrushes are cool.. and if you plan to be casually painting models for the rest of your life then its worth the investment in a good one. It will work out cheaper than the GW one quite quickly too, since the GW one requires you to constantly buy more propellant. Meanwhile, the large drybrush is great on tanks!

Yeah, if you're going to get an airbrush, it is worth looking into a good one and a good compressor for it, rather than going with the GW "airbrush" and then having to buy canned air for it.

I blew up my GW spray gun yesterday... well, the hose anyway!
I kept a can of proppellant in really hot water for too long, the pressure built up in the system and blew the weakest link - the plastic hose.
I was trying to get a good flow of paint (which is what you spend all your time doing) and forgot to lift the can back out...
suprisingly I am happy about this, and look forward to getting a compressor and decent airbrush.

I've got the second the thoughts on the GW spray gun. Was truly disappointed with the results. Luckily the paint was so watery (for it to even escape the nozzle) that the mess it made will easily be covered up by my new Army Painter base coat sprays.
It's a shame I won't be using it for the camo because that would make it much faster, but then again, it will only take 10 minutes to get a decent coat of thin brown after masking it off, and being so much darker than the yellow should only take 2/3 coats. I hope.

Army Painter base coat sprays Why don't you just get another colour and spray it on there?

I thought about it but I really wanted the colours to match with the infantry perfectly. I was happy to compromise on the yellow because the effect the dusting up will have but I didn't really find a good match for the brown.
If painting it on really does end up as too much of a hassle I'll be compromising on that one too eventually, but my army really isn't that Mech heavy and only the Heavy Support slot vehicles will be having a camo pattern anyway.
So, we'll see. *shrug*

Fair enough, I know how long it takes (and how careful you have to be) when painting a tank with a brush. I love having an airbrush to hand now, it's so much easier and well worth the investment (as it's great for basecoating infantry too).
I also know the feeling of wanting something just right so I can definately sympathise!
