Since I had a number of spare Chimeras that I was not using, I thought I would try to use one as a weapons platform for any games I chose to play using the vanilla Guard rules (I usually play a Death Korps army). Linky!As a bonus, since the gun and platform are both magnetised, they can be removed and the original Chimera hull replaced. Hope this was useful to some of you. |

I did it last week. I'm always try to magnetise and convert my existing models to make different units, mainly to avoid having to buy new ones!  |

I thought about this a while ago using some of the Forgeworld Static gun kits but not knowing the kits my idea was to convert the DKOK-style rolling guns onto a platform. I haven't tried yet and don't plan to anytime soon but this likes a much better way and I thank you for sharing!
