Hey ya'll. Yew another question, ugh.
I got some resin guardsmen and i want to change some of their arms/heads... Also they were glued over a decade ago (closer to 2 decades actually) and i have no idea what glue was used... How would one suggest taking then apart? It would be simple if they wernt resin.

I've heard of a lot of people just running it under hot water and prying it apart very carefully. I think that you can buy a debonder too. Don't use acetone though I have heard that resin will absorb it and bloat.

Forge World were formed in 1998, Elysians released in 2005. Unless they're from another supplier or are actually the original plastic Imperial Army troopers..

Ah those guys! They're plastic.
I'm not sure here, but there might be a lot of demand for those guys on ebay - like as in the same level of demand that plastic space dwarfs and imperial army command.

Ha they are not that rare. The heavy weapon teams from those beret troopers (and sergeant and special weapons) are rarer.

I believe the heavies were in metal and the basic soldiers in plastic. That was what put me off buying them initially as a kid.
Damn! We need a working time machine.

If I recall correctly, the old plastic stormtroopers had the heads cast in one piece with the torso and legs. The arms and backpacks were separate pieces. So to do head swaps, you will most likely have to cut their heads off... I had some of them back in the day, but my memory could be fuzzy with age.

They are a 1 piece body, head and legs. The lasgun fixes by a peg as does the backpack.
