OK a plastic baneblade would rock ;D ;D ;D!!!!!!!!!!!! but the fact is it wont happen because forgewrold still makes huge bucks on them now. and If they were cheaper by how much? 150 US 100 US but you still would have to pay for shipping in most areas. Also they would be sold in a summer campaign like the vostroyans. Then they would go away and not be seen till the oh I dont know.........51st millenia . Anyway I think huge games would rock and I have played a 2 dayer which I ultimately won with marines 3200 pts!!!! Cadian

Cheaper Baneblade = more sold Forgeworld belongs to GW. So it doesn't really matter where they get their money from. It only matters that they earn money and the more the merrier... And to be honest GW can be called lucky if 50% of the players buy stuff from FW. So I guess it wouldn't be the worst deal for them...
And dethklok: The Eldar are dying a death that holds for millenias already. And soon all of them will have fallen to the might of the Chaos and it's chosen 13. Legion of the Word Bearers and their Dark Apostel Erebos *muhahahahaha* ;D

What ever man . I know we are slowly becoming extinct but untill that happens we will live every day to the fullest and rock the Great Enemy on every battle feild. Long live the glorius Eldar for our logic is flawless our warriors the strongest that the gods have ever seen and even though our population slowly dwindles we will fight and kill all who oppose us untill we are all gone. Cheers Dethklok ;D

Yeah and living your lives to the fullest every day will feed Slaanesh (and he'll grant my Word Bearers more of his precious Deamonetts). The Eldar are dying and they'll die long before we'll crush the servants of the false Emperor!

thank the emperor your all starting to see sense so its a big no to plastic baneblades and a big hurray for massed infantry battles as the guard should be played and as for the damn elder and choas filth who cares about your opinion all will fall to the imperial sledge hammer that is the guard.

Big battles are nice. But most ppl won't start fighting big battles if they don't get cheap (relativly) "toys", like Baneblades without paying millions just to get them shipped in... The Chaos will win every battle. The last serveants of the flase Emperor that were a real threat for our forces died about ten millenias ago. And now what you're calling veterans are just little babies compared to our mighty warriors who are fighting you for ten thousand years already. And for why I want Deamonettes: They're just the best allround deamons. Bloodletters for serious CC, Plaguebearers for stopping, Horrors for stopping too and Deamonettes for everything else.

Why do I think that the IG player made a critical mistake at some point?! Let me guess he was a total n00b?! Being outnumbered with IG vs DA... *shakes head

hows he messed that one up? for the amount of dark angels (getting fed up of those over publisised big buggers) you fielded he should have had at least double if not triple the number of forces to through against you. evean if you did eventually win please explain and as for new toys, apocolypse should just give us all a chance to rightfully turn round to those that command the purse strings that i require more armour/infantry to uphold my honour. and crush choas filth beneath the boots of the mighty IG.

I'd actually say I'd rather have Vultures and Valkeriyns than a Baneblade. Woot fer air-cavalry guardsmen.

There aren't that many droptroop/aircavalery. There are more ground based forces, so it's more realistic that there will be a plastic Baneblade before there are any plastic flyers.

But the idea is seriously righteous..imagine hundreds of imperial air-calvalry troops dropping from the red sky

i disagree air dropping is not cool. im a fan of arty and tank rushes. air dropping just smacks of lack of cofidence in moral and equipment and its real rubbish just dropping all your troop reserves in turn three on there command squad its just not the behaviour of a gentleman commander

Ya cause then you could field like a million baneblades with enough points.

i agree cadian117 but i think they would have thought of that and nknow doubt be a ltd. troop choice for super heavies like 1 per army but as i've said from the outset of this thread the baneblade is a white elephant.
