This isn't the 40K RPG you're used to. No, really. What I've been wanting to do for a while is play XD20, a game where the basic mechanic for everything is "1. Roll a D20, 2. The GM tells you if you succeeded." There's more to it than that, but not much. The nice thing about it is that anything can be adapted to it, including the FFG 40K games.
