Heck, I might just have to get one because...
If you remove the silly oversized assault guns and replace them with something else or just cover up the gap. And if you attach terminators assault guns or sentinel missile launcher beneath the wings. Take away the "pilot" space marine....
You get a pretty cool generic sci-fi/cyberpunk attack flying craft.

Yeah, I've been thinking that. I'll pick one up for myself if they add it to Templars when they update the codex.
I'm suddenly wondering if Chaos players are mad that they can't get flyers but SM have three.

I'm surprised chaos hasn't gotten any flyers. cause even in IA7 it says in the story that chaos uses flyers. Hell the whole book Double Eagle is about guard flyers facing chaos flyers.
I like the idea for the stormtalon. Would be neat to see a guard conversion of this.

Don't Chaos Forces have the rule that you can take any imperial vehicle, and use it? This is just for apoc/ imperial armour IIRC.

Chaos DOES have flyers (Hell Talon and Hell Blade), but they are Forge World. I have heard rumors that Chaos will get a flyer, something about the Stormraven crossed with a dragon...

Only if you upgrade them with wings  As a matter of fact, we can upgrade every generic character to have wings, so flying chaos lords and sorcerers. I really hope they give us the option for flying possessed. The kit contains wings anyway. |
