Hi guys, haven't posted in a while. Thought I'd jump straight into a mini-League having been away from the hobby for a while. This is just a little in store thing, so I am not going for all out cheese, just using models I find cool. However, I am struggling to find a balance between effectiveness and coolness. Please leave some constructive criticism of my list (especially in consideration of my lack of 6th Ed knowledge). p.s. Only requirements are 1 Troop. HQOrdo Malleus Inquisitor -Hellrifle,Power Armour, Power Sword - 58 Castellan Crowe - 150 ElitesInquisitor Warband - x5 Warriors (Carapace, Hotshot Las), Jokaero - 100 (Dedicated Transport - Chimera - 55) TroopsPurifiers - Incinerator, Falcions, Halberd, D.Hammer, Master-Craft, Digital Weapons - 142 TOTAL: 505 points

Ok,well...
Take Coteaz instead of the Ordo Malleus, he's awesome and is Psychic Mastery 2 plus he's pretty darn cool.
Drop Crowe, he can be a bit of a one trick pony....
Keep the Purifiers! just kit them out with an Incinerator and Pyscannon, then watch them kick ass in CC. Cleansing flame FTW!!
Take a Strike Squad with a Psycannon to give you a decent fire base
And then take a Dreadknight with a Heavy Incinerator, its Nemisis Doom fists wll be good enough in 500pts
Drop Coteaz in with the Purifiers
Should be a fairly heavy hitting little force around 500pts
Never been a fan of the Inq Warbands, the Codex has too many other better units.
Thats what I would do, but its up to you.....personally rocking up with a Dreadknight means most armys will struggle to take it down and so are going to focus fire on it. Mean while you move your Purifiers into a decent assault position! With the Strike squad following giving supporting fire in as much cover as possible.

Mmmmm, ok cheers. I'll look into it P.s. I have always considered investing in a Dreadknight... are they truly worth it? I must admit they look really hard in 6th Ed. I'm playing some practice games with mates of mine beforehand. I will let you know how any and all suggested lists play out for me

I alreay liked the rules for Dreadknight in 5th, now 6th is out I reckon there just as awesome. At around 1000pts I'm normally running 2 as they can be a handfull to deal with...especially if you kit em out with personel teleporters!! Good luck with your practice games, Grey Knights can be quite tricky to play with.... but.... when you've cracked it you can roll opponents easily Danger Rod PS, Watch out for Collars of Khorne!!

Ok, back. 6 games were played, against 3 separate lists. A game with each variation of my list, per list. Original: 3 played, 3 won Modified Version: 3 played, 2 won, 1 draw Army 1: Orks Army 2: Chaos Army 3: Spehhss Mehreeens Ok, my experience is that the Purifiers are definitely staying. They are rock-hard in 500pts, epecially against any horded armies (orks, 'nids). Crowe is a maybe. Purifiers as troops is a wonderful thing and I am willing to take him for this. In addition, he is generally good enough to take out a unit or an HQ and in a tight squeese, he will happily dispose of an enemy HQ. The Inqusitor and warband worked really well for me, but I have a feeling that luck played a large part (e.g. my Jokaero snapshotting and killing an ork flyer). New potential list: HQ Castellan Crowe - 150 TroopsPurifiers (Same as before) - 142 Heavy SupportNemesis Dreadknight - Personal Teleporter - 205 OR Nemesis Dreadknight - Nemesis Greatsword, Gatling Psilencer - 190 Again, Opinions welcome
