Yes my friends, I've turned heretic again........again. I got myself a Praetor after yet again seeing Majordowners (he stole the idea off me  ) and didn't know what to do with it. I then ordered Dark Vengeance and it suddenly hit....renegades!! Using the Cultists and some other bits I'm going to see what I can come up with. I've also ordered some Brass Etch Renegade symbols and the Renegade Militia Command from FW so I'll have a sizeable starting force. The renegade symbols will be used on the Praetor, but until they arrive I've just started adding some little extra detailing. Replaced the Hatch springs with real ones and replaced the handles with Platicard...  Added some battle damage including some ricocheting bullet marks....     De-faced the Aquila....  Replaced some pipe work with Plasticard and added a couple of brass etch handles....  Hope you approve! Hopefully the Renegade symbols will chaosify it a bit more too! Cosmic |

Looking good, nice little details you've added.
I'm not sure if I would have the Kahoonahs to deface such a wonderful kit!!

So far, so awesome! I think I'm going to get an Armageddon Medusa to Chaosify. I'm pretty stoked to get my DV set. Should be here sometime this week.

Unless you prefer the stereotypical Chaos look, may I suggest completely removing the aquila all together ? I know that when Chaos forces capture forge or industrial worlds they continue the production quotas of weaponry but cease attaching the Imperial aquilas.

You've hit the nail on the head, the Renegades have just rebelled and as such they defile their vehicles. They haven't just made this one, it was the soldier's before they rebelled, so now they just defile and scratch out the iconography. Well I've had some time to myself today again so I got working on the interior of the Praetor. Almost done now.... EDIT Having trouble with my Photobucket account, photos later! |

Very awesome! Is there any way you could take a picture of all your materials you use? Pigments, paints, tools, thinners etc? I'm curious as to what you use and for what.
