So these rumours have been floating around for a while, but seem to indicate that tactical, assault marines and scouts will be getting recuts. Scouts will be all options in one box, marines more weapon options, new missile launcher with flakk. Nothing about rules updates. New Scout buggy, new SM flyer with 2 tail options also rumoured to be on the horizon. www.warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?354828-New-Space-Marines-RumorsEdit - This is also probably why they're doing megaforce bundles before xmas, to get rid of the old stock of marines.

That post reads quite well, actually. But it's still the case of the golden boys getting all the toys. If the SM get a heavy flier they sure better be releasing Thunderbolt-esque Guard models into the 'standard' 40k game.

A new recut of old sprues for the flagship army? I smell a price increase!
But maybe I'm being cynical.

A new recut of old sprues for the flagship army? I smell a price increase! The sun just rose above the horizon somewhere in the world... PRICE INCREASE!

What I'm looking forward to the most is different legs. Apparently they will be 'less static'. If so, marines will have the biggest selection of legs out of everything. Already we have 2 types of static MK VII and 1 MK VI in the tactical box, 4 running legs in the assault box (2 MK VII, 2 MK VI), another 2 types of MK VII legs in the commander & command squad/ devastator box and kneeling MK VI legs in the command squad/ devastator box. Add to that about 4 or 5 different legs from each of the new armour mark ranges from Forge World. And more to come. That post reads quite well, actually. But it's still the case of the golden boys getting all the toys. Sorry. I'm working 7 days at the moment, so it's hard to string a coherent sentence together.

I'd like to think they'd stick with a full 10 man squad per box but I wouldn't put it past GW to switch to a 5 man combat squad per box but with more options and extras. Of course you can't use all the options or extras without buying another box or being good with magnets.

That's a crazy schedule Chemin. You can't get any time off? Not for another 4 weeks. If I'm even still sane at that point.
