Right, well Paimons sisters are now pretty much finished and as such I'll be starting my other commissions. My original plan was to complete them all in the order that I got them in, however, that would take absolutely ages. And so, I'm just going to do them all, and flit between them all. To my customers: No one will be left out so please don't feel like I'm abandoning your project for someone elses, everyone will have their stuff painted, but doing it this way will prevent the tedium of painting the same things for a few weeks. I can flit between them and keep myself interested. So, lets begin......
Exactly the same as the Curious Constructs commission, this is for painted stuff to put on the website Again, some great products, great sculpts and crisp detailing. Whilst limited at the moment, Mad Robot is always working on new stuff so check out the site. Everything's in resin too!! Nom nom.. Cosmic A final messageI am truly grateful to everyone who has commissioned me, I really am. As you may have noticed I have plenty to keep me busy, but juggling all of this with 2 jobs as well will be hard. I will try my best to get everything done quickly, professionally and to the standard you all expect. I truly am grateful for your custom, thank you.

Well I have begun with this one too! Started with the Beret heads. I was having a bit of an off day though so I wasn't at my best when I painted the first head, might have something to do with that bottle of strong cider I had....... He'll be getting a repaint soon on the face.

Out of the blue question, how do you stick the heads to the cocktail stick? Ive tried three methods all of which suck. Best way i found so far is blue tack but its a bit weak :/

Have you tried to use a pin vise?

Yep. Drilling a hole, just as you would if you were drilling/ pinning a metal head to plastic/ resin body.

Ive never done that i did stick a metal needle in the neck once but then i had to file it after cause it didnt sit right in the body neck hole.

Hey Adken, It's simply drilling a small hole with a pin vice, sticking a piece of metal wire in, a tad of superglue, and then plonk it in a cork Simples!

Hey Cosmic,
I must say, all your work is beautiful and an inspiration to a Yankee all the way here in California!
I’m interested in using the beret heads for veterans or a future project. Any chance we can see one next to, or even glued on a guardsman?
Thanks and keep up the good work!

Great! Thanks, I might have to pick up 10 for storm troopers/ Veterans.
Regarding feedback for Mad Robot, I too would like to see Vietnam style helmets, and shotguns for weapons.
Thanks!

Righto! Just to show that I haven't forgotten about me other commissions I finished up the masked heads for Mad Robot tonight, tomorrow I will be finishing the Beret ones, as well as the Curious Constructs bits. Unfortunately I can't really take good pictures of these. So this will have to do for the moment, so if you want me to ship them back to you Steve then let me know and you can sort out better pictures that match the ones already on your site. Cosmic

Isn't it great how little it takes to make great looking conversions? Good job as always, Cosmic.

Looks great Cosmic! I have a bunch of these attached to guardsmen that need painting, this makes for excellent inspiration.

Trying to find a better way of photographing these, since they're so small and just the heads you get all the nitty gritty detail up close so I've played about with the sizing a little...hope these are ok, Steve..

Bonjour boys and girls. I can safely say I'm back on here with some actual work. Been very hectic and lots going wrong lately but I feel everything is sorting itself out finally. To get myself back into the swing of things I thought I'd try and start off with something simple. I broke out @madrobot's bits again that he needs me to do and I started off with the armoured torso's which, by the way, are awesome! I'm still trying to get used to my new computer so it's a basic photo at the moment but when I've edited some more I'll post them up. All the best everyone, how you're all ok! Cosmic
