This is a commission for a friend of mine from when I was at School. He's a lot older than me but we've spoken a few times. Out of the blue, he asked if I would be interesting in painting Angron. Having a look over the kit, it's superb! Great detail and looks like a great chance to try some new metal techniques out. Cosmic A final messageI am truly grateful to everyone who has commissioned me, I really am. As you may have noticed I have plenty to keep me busy, but juggling all of this with 2 jobs as well will be hard. I will try my best to get everything done quickly, professionally and to the standard you all expect. I truly am grateful for your custom, thank you.

That's awesome, I'd love to paint that model, and you'll be getting to paint it and be paid for it! I'm sure you'll do it justice!

Am I the only person who gets excited when ever Cosmic updates a commission thread and nearly cries when it's just a comment.

Sorry, Foster. There will be, but don't forget that I have 2 jobs during the week too. It's finding time to do everyone's. But thank you Sunday afternoons, Mondays and Tuesday during the day are my main times to myself, and therefore for painting!

Not even that bunny from Monty Python and the Holy Grail?
The armour is looking good so far; there's so much detail.... He has Kharn's axe!

Only because Angron's got better weapons now. It's probably on some kind of HP loan, which Kharn repays with gore.

its sure does look like a nice model, and it looks like your taking care of business...really well... but for £50 il think il pass..lol
ps... i said this before, but the pics on the forgeworld website are pretty a crappy paintjob... i really disike their 'tank style' of painting figures.

He really is impressive. I love the gladiatorial feel his armour portrays. I heard Fulgrim will be coming out next after they've released a few Sons of Horus Heroes (Abaddon and the Captain he kills during the Betrayal I believe it's Torgaddon but I'm not sure)
Hopefully they'll release Vulkan lol Ferrus Manus would ROCK too though..
@ Ashot - By the throne if you don't start pre heresy Iron Hands it would be heresy. Your tech upgrades combined with the Iron Hands emphasis on technology would just look too damned good.
I've already suggested Cosmic play pre heresy Imperial Fists...
We need more Pre Heresy forces up in here !

Luckily I didn't pay the £50 ;D And I do agree partially, I think they try to be a bit more realistic in their style, I just think they could do better. They seem to have some great painters and then some alright ones. Cheers Ivory.

Great start Cosmic I'm really looking forward to seeing how you paint him up! Will you be doing pale skin with red "tribal/gladiatorial" markings? Cheers, Ludovic
