If I add Mogul Kamir to a RRS the unit gets rage so on the charge I'd get 3 attacks per rough rider +1 for regular, +1 for Rage, and +1 for charge. that's 27 Power Lance Attacks at I 5 S 6 From Furious Charge, Fearless with Mogul Kamirs own +D3 On Charge, + 3 Regular, +1 Rage. I was wondering if I added this all up correctly. So Its, if everyone lives to assault 31 + D3 Power Lance attacks at Initiative 5 Strength 6

that sounds about right if they all survive and get into cc; the RR aren't good enough to compete with vendetta or hellhound; with the 6th defensive fire when you charge the enemy, most RR die, also their power lance is only AP3 now.

worth a go still unless your opponent is a spawny git who rolls constant 6's in overwatch lol You just need more than a 5 man RR squad to be safe.

Yep, you need at least 10 of them. And that will make them a too expensive unit...
last time I used 5 of them and charged a unit of Chaos Terminators with Flamers.............. I know, stupid, but they where the last ones on the battle field......... and died for the Emperor
But besides that I don´t get it, RR do have 1 attack and the sergeant 2, rage gives them 2+ plus the 3 of Mogul + 2 for rage and his D3 makes a max. total of 24 and not 31

I know Paul, but the fun is that your opponent is distracted for a moment. And I do agree that it is an expensive way of using your points which could be spent on much more effective ways.

But imagine if your against an army using artillery and say perhaps you had chars like regimental advisors who give more control on you reinforcment rolls. bring them in behind to assualt artillery etc in say the third turn when the enemy has half his troops down the table. i dunno its something i would try in desperation, it will be like the hussars riding to their death at waterloo but it will be glorious non the less lol

RR can´t deepstrike or outflank, as a reserve they enter the battlefield from you own table edge..

Unfortunately, Rough Riders don't have Power Lances. They have Hunting Lances, which work differently.
