For once the tenants of habitation block zero-six-two-five were not awaken from their slumbers, the rays of dawn permeated through the window blinds. It could have seemed like any other day, the men of the PDF camped in their Chimera which awaited outside leaving the local citizens to sleep peacefully. Melwinii was first to awake, stretching out bones cracking as he did. He walked along the Chimeras transport hold fastening on his armour kit and grabbing for his weapons. He whistled awaking the three other men from their sleep, at least one of them protesting and mumbling as they too got their equipment. "You know the drill," barked the grim faced sergeant. Little enthusiasm given for this assignment, Melwinii reached out hitting the mechanism for the access hatch, the heavy metal digging into the asphalt road. With the fighting men stepping out and entering the habitation block. "Frak me!" Yelbow exclaimed falling backwards into the pavement, what lay before him a grim sight. Soaps limp body had fallen from the now open door frame, a gash across his neck and blood smearing the inner side of the complex door. Had he tried to escape or call for help, they were unsure. All they did know was that the xeno had struck again. * * * * * OOC: End of Night Three: List of Players: - Paimon - Wraelis - Dave, The Master of Muppets - Imperial - Killed on Night One - Emptyhat - Imperial - Lynched on Day two - Adkenpachi - Rook - Imperial - Killed on Night Two - Shostak - Purple Dice - Imperial - Lynched on Day one - Soap Imperial - Killed on Night 3 Results: - Purple Dice was lynched on Day One. - Dave killed on Night One - Empty lynched on Day Two - Rook killed on Night Two - Nobody was lynched on Day Three - Soap was killed on Night Three Day Four: Day four ends: December 12th, 2012. Paimon sighs, "Why are you people still surprised about this? We know that the killer kills one person a night. That's what they've been doing this whole time. We still haven't found them, therefore we should expect a corpse. Maybe this lack of pattern recognition is why the PDF is still fighting and hasn't won already?
"Anyways, I'm going to go ahead and
Vote Adkenpachi
"We should have done so yesterday, and we're probably at the point now where if we're wrong, we all die. Horray!"

"I honestly do not think that there is much left to say. At this point I suspect all of you equally, but for the moment I shall stick to my views from yesterday, and vote against Paimon, unless one of you can dissuade me throughout today."

Wraelis walks into the room, nodding at the others. "Well, we've seen where complacency gets us in all this. Kill or be killed, no other way around it. He had my suspicions before and still has them now. Adkenpachi, Emperor forgive me if I'm wrong, but I believe you killed Dave, and Rook, and now Soap. I will risk having your blood on my hands because I believe theirs is on yours."

Unvote
"I do think that Ad is our best choice today, but if it's actually Shostak who is the xeno, I don't want him to be able to just slip a vote in willy nilly. Having one vote on someone is safe. Having majority-1 is not.
"I voted early because I want to make sure that we get enough momentum that we don't have another slip up like last time. Though at this point I almost think that it's worth a no lynch just so that we have better odds tomorrow of getting the xeno. Not that I'm inclined to do so."

"Fair enough Ad," says Wraelis. "Yesterday was a complete waste of time and I'd rather not repeat it. And yes, Paimon has been very aggressive, but at the same time that is the only way we might survive this mess. That being said I've been very suspicious of her this entire time as well, but she's also the only one who seems willing to take action which puts me in a difficult spot as far as seeing how trustworthy she is."
"So, looks like we're in for an interesting day here. I pray it ends with a dead murderer"

"So, today each loyal citizen has a 33% chance of picking the xeno. Tomorrow, the survivors will have a 50% chance of success.
"Now, if we go with a no lynch, then tomorrow a wrong vote by a citizen will mean that the xeno will be able to get majority immediately. So both citizens will have to be very careful. But the odds will be better tomorrow. If we get it wrong today, then everyone dies anyways."

"The stakes are the same lynching a person today or tomorrow. Today we have worse odds than we will tomorrow. This is one of the extremely rare cases where I think a no lynch is advisable.
Vote: No Lynch"

Wraelis sighs as he listens to Paimon's logic. "So we don't kill today. Another innocent will for sure die tonight, but we have a better chance tomorrow... I don't like this one bit, but it does make sense. I suppose better one dead innocent than two... Anyone got anything to say otherwise?"

"Or we take the gamble now and try to save everyone. Why does Paimon want to avoid a vote today? Is she trying to help the group, or does she want to avoid her cover being blown. If Paimon is the...the thing, then she could easily be trying to kill another of us loyalists without fear of retribution."

Melwinii pressed himself from the lounge rooms wall, an iho stick squeezed between index and thumb. He gave a malicious smile as he flicked the iho stick to the floor, pressing his boot heavily upon it to put the smoke out. "Yelbow, restrain her." "On it sir." The man threw himself from the couch, grasping at her wrists and drawing them behind her back. The PDF trooper dropped a hand reaching into his webbing and withdrawing a length of tie-wrap, fastening it around her wrists. He pulled it tight to check if it was secure, drawing a weak murmurer to escape her lips. "Take her back to the Chimera." Melwinii ordered, unslinging his lasrifle and drawing his aim across the group before him. "The Emperors work is to be done, we will find this xeno." Yelbow gave her a shove towards the door, "can we make this one quick sir? She deserves that much." Melwinii giving the trooper a nod in return, for once during this frakked operation his spine began to tingle. His faith was faltering, perhaps it was something of familiarity. Something about her eyes that broke him down to the core. This wasn't right but His duty had to be done. He looked out the door and Yelbow pushed her to her knees behind the Chimera, a shot rang out across the street. He could not see the kill, shielded by the vehicles hull. The sergeant had to be thankful for that at least. * * * * * OOC: End of Night Three: List of Players: - Paimon - Imperial - Lynched on Day four - Wraelis - Dave, The Master of Muppets - Imperial - Killed on Night One - Emptyhat - Imperial - Lynched on Day two - Adkenpachi - Rook - Imperial - Killed on Night Two - Shostak - Purple Dice - Imperial - Lynched on Day one - Soap Imperial - Killed on Night 3 Results: - Purple Dice was lynched on Day One. - Dave killed on Night One - Empty lynched on Day Two - Rook killed on Night Two - Nobody was lynched on Day Three - Soap killed on Night Three - Paimon lynched on Day Four Night Four: Night four ends: December 17th, 2012.
