but how do you guys do barels? the barrel of my bask shows every brush stroke i put on it.. and i don't like it.. hoped to masked with the wash but it only made it worse....

rest of all that washing and highlighting is going somewhere..God i love youtube

a small update, finished my basalisk, basecoated the bike, and ffed up the baseoat on the space marines tried to dillute old white paint but as you can see in the pictures it didn't work......

other than that.. i made a few modifications to a sentinal and i think it will look good.. please feel free to react..

Finaly! a decent size update.. finished my last basilisk, finished the custom bike and got 12 guardsmen in primer
got one basilisk waiting to be turned into a griffin, decided on having a cadian army with catachan squad-leaders (thus loving the catachan commisar) being guided by a small group of white scars, thus turning in to a white scar loyalist army, all armor and tracks

hoping to get my paint somewhere this week so i can do the SM as well..

here are some pics, but i really hope to get some reply's this time...

Finally got something finished to be worth an update!

i present to you.. my entry to the golden guardsman competition November '13



The story behind her is that a ig regiment got pinned in an urban environment with a bunch of bask's and little more.. so they decided to alter one of them to look like a stormlord..but on a ig scale .. capable of blowing large units of infantry out of existence..






I hope you guys like her and think she should have been first in the competition if i finished her in time

i'm really proud as this is my first mayor conversion, first time i took a saw and a drill to a model to totally destroy it ..


anyway.. here's the rest I've been busy with.. and as soon as i have some space on my workbench i'm gonna start assembling my own shadowsword.. (or whatever the version with the too big to fit in here cannon is named..)

for now.. it's dark eldar, white scars and a gaunts hq squad..however i must say the white scars are a pain in the arse to get right.. any advice on bringing up the black lines on the armor without frustration would be welcome..









I'm afraid to tell you the next update is gonna take some while as my wife is due somewhere between yesterday and 4 weeks from now so there will be precious little time to spend on the hobby but i will try..

And it's a boy! already 2 months old now but somehow i feel like i haven't slept in those months

Finally got most of my command squad finished! just got the commander put together, just need to work on his weapon but more on that later
