Something that's on my mind right now, because it comes up in the book I'm reading. Dark is not inherently evil. Neither is cold. They are beyond such things as good and evil. They simply are. But still, those of us who prefer the dark, who prefer the cold, are pictured as evil, even when we mean no harm to anyone who doesn't threaten us or ours. I think it's more the parallel that's there with those two -- dark and cold are not things, they're the absence of things. Dark is the absence of light, cold is the absence of heat, evil is the absence of good. Meh, I'm burning up all my philosophy before the word association begins; can't have that. But what others call comforting warmth burns me, and what others call brightly beautiful hurts my eyes and still I wish no harm upon those who don't try to harm me or mine. And so many have so much trouble accepting that MUSIC: Switching to Warren Zevon, I've run out of Dylan

I don't think I need to be armed to scare you Req. HAHAHAH just kidding. OK, I'd say once we hear from Reds he can pick the next word. You guys cool with that?

GET THE fornicate OUT!!!!! Of all the words we can use you chose the same one as me! I'm honored and scared at the same time. There are a few things I fear. But none so much as failing to do what I set out to accomplish, for that alone would be a negation of my self. Too often, I give in to that fear, don't even try, because I can't deal with the possibility of failing at something

Julian, you are totally throwing me man. I consider myself to be a Japanophile but apparently not to the same extent as you. I'm secure enough in my manliness to enjoy watching a 20-year-old cartoon aimed at girls 10-15 years younger than I. No, that was not a challenge. Please don't hurt me please don't hurt me please don't hurt me... ;D

They can see every angle of failure. I can agree with that sentiment. Perhaps approach life as an infant? Infants have no idea..they ar driven by wants and needs. Not, negative thoughts. Maybe. Zevon pretty much always has a relevant response. Dude was a fornicateing genius. Semi-random anecdote: One time when I was working as a cook, I had a mix CD of a bunch of buttrock ballads on in the kitchen. Love songs, all of 'em. The owner came through, and complained about how horrible and negative the music we were listening to in the kitchen sounded. A while later, she came through again while I had a Zevon disc in, playing Werewolves of London. She thought that was much more cheerful and positive. I guess some people are just incapable of listening to the lyrics.

Any of you care to to put up another word for the game? Word Assoc.
Yeah Zevon is a master of the craft. Sadly I know about 3 songs by him. WestRider, can you suggest others?
Also this is awesome. It's like chatting.

Butterfly. So beautiful yet fragile. It's sad really. I seek out things made of concrete and will. Something such as a butterfly used to hold no merit in my life but since getting into Lao Tzu I can see the strength in things seemingly weak. Marvelous.

If you want something that I would claim to have named myself for, here it is: www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZIQ2pHaJ1IEdit: Sharps, Yuki Kajiura did an instrumental version arrangement for the Madoka soundtrack. That one is solid as well. Anything she does is awesome. I love this song in any version.

Hey all, just thought I'd try and pop in. I just went through a growler (half gallon jug) of IPA with some friends. I'm drinking an interesting Belgian style ale right now. Kinda sweet, a little tart for a Belgian. Not too shabby. Oh yeah, and this is Wraelis by the way, I figured I'd make my account on here match my steam one. Thus, Commissar now

The one made out of about a dozen machines was very cool. The one made of lions was lame. WestRider thanks for the Zevon songs. Saving to computer so I can look into it later.

I loved the Transformers: Cybertron, or whichever one it was where there was always the long, drawn-out scene with Optimus doing a Voltron impression. Total bone throw.

When I'm sober and my conscious mind is completely in control, I'm about on par with my cat when it comes to reflexes and raw speed.
When I'm drunk and my conscious mind gets out of the way, I'm way faster than she is ;D
