Hi posted on the beginners board a few days back on what models I got. And now for some of the almost done models, I still need basing and weathering on them. But I'm waiting until I'm done with the last batch of 5guys and il do all 40 I have done so far at once. I will send better pictures when I'm all done with the bases, but for now these are all I have on my phone   This picture was taken before my vets shoot Faithweaver to bits with some lucky dice    |

This is on today's working table I must assemble 5more Necrons then I can go out and prime them so I can get started on the paint job. So far I have 10 engineers 15 infantry 5command painted.  |

As Cosmic says, it's forge world horses. As with everything except a Valkyrie in my army. I had a small 3day of from work to get all Xmas'y with my family and fiancée, so no painting sadly. But I got a game in against those Necrons in the picture! I'm a shopaholic when it comes to Warhammer I have every army except sisters and orks at home. But sadly I don't have the motivation to paint them all, and before I can complete a army in the painting department Gw releases a new army, and I go " Ohhhhh.... Shiny..." But since I got all those army's I have loads of army's some of my friends can borrow if the what to try out the game, and currently we have started the "Crusade of fire" campaign and a girlfriend of mine is playing my Necrons. So I have to paint them up at the same time as my guard Just going to leave a picture on what I'm working on today.  |

I love the OSL on the Commissar and the weathering on the Basilisk!
Just one issue though, it looks like the platform on the Basilisk is too high? or is it just me....

Truly superb Bassie, as Dangerrod has said though, it appears the platform has been mounted much higher!
Weathering is superb and the OSL is subtle but great to.
I see you're starting Necrons to?

Yes, im painting Necrons up with a friend. But I haven't painted them in a while.
I have a battle report with my Necrons against thewarhmergirl on her YouTube channel if you wish to see what I have painted.
I think that is just the angle of the shoot.
The stair on the back is 1cm up from the ground. But then again I may be wrong and have something unique here ^^

You definitely have something unique, the platform is supposed to be sunk down into the whole, yours is flush with the top, but in a way it looks better!

Yes your right the platform can be mounted 1cm down.
I'm going to check if I can position it lower, I haven't used to much glue to place it so it might work.

It should be an easy fix!
Although you've now painted the hard part round the base of the main gun, when its repositioned down you'll see it can/is a real beatch to paint

Yea, fixt it easy. Naturally I'm to strong for myself and the fence on the platform exploded all over the rom But now it all nice and "right" Il post some pictures and a new batrep video when I got 1000p painted. Should take a week or so. |
