I love the blue you've used, it really sets the red bits off. Lovely brushwork too of course

What did you use for the snow on your bases? My Krieg are snow themed as well and the current "snow" I use is very hit and miss on quality and appearance when the PVA dries. Yours look superb!

Looking back at your old thread, Vlad, your painting has improved at an incredible rate! Almost superhuman.............is this whole thing a lie? Marvellous work, the halberd is great, what's next in the pipeline?

Some vehicles, a Chimera, a Manticore/Griffon and a Baneblade would be nice. I would like to add a second infantry squad like this one and a Chenkov model, maybe another officer.

Your painting is great, and I love the snow bases (never could deal with all that finicky crud myself).
Did you get the power halberd from a Grey Knights box or elsewhere?
Would you mind posting a in progress picture of the halberd/green stuff.

The halberd is a Grey Knight halberd, the blade is painted with aero.

I agree, you seem to either held back or hired your awesome sauce twin to paint it for you, the difference between your 1st page stuff and current is night and day. Either way, its good to have a top painter on the board to draw inspiration from.

A friend is teaching me how to paint, but my level is not that high. He is painting the Vostroyans for me, but I learn fast, hehe. You can see his work here: akadpaintingstudio.blogspot.com.es/All these people who is bad at painting, can learn some techniques and improve very quickly their skills. I'll modify the first post to show that this is not my painting.

Needs more pictures, because these are seriously awesome.
Love the colour scheme and it's nice to see a Vestroyan army which has actually varied from the standard colours.

Amazing work as always by your friend. The tanks need some decals and accesories to add more flavor. I'm not sure if the dozer blade needs magnets, seem unnecessary, I just glue with clear drying urethane on mine; though it does make transporting easier.
As of right now, the tanks looks photoshopped, I personally like to see some brush strokes. Nonetheless, its some nice tanks!

I know, I was just saying I prefer some brush strokes on my vehicles, at the same time I appreciate the skills shown.

You prefer brush strokes to be visible?

You prefer brush strokes to be visible? This is coming from a artist, who does painting with slip(clay), China painting on ceramics, oil on canvas among other methods. The brush stroke tells the viewer about the painter, the airbrush tech is great for blending but it's 'soulless'. There are ways to blend in the brush strokes, such as cross hatching, dabbing, etc. I appreciate the airbrush skills, just not my preference.
