Ok so ive been building myself some 2000 point lists in preparation for going out into the big wide world with my armies
I compliled a list for each of 6 different factions
Ultramarines 2000
Black Legion 2000
Knob Gobblers Orky Waaagh 2000
Catachan 436th guard regiment 2000 (loyal/renegade depending on the foe)
Grey Knights 2000
Necron 2000
Ive been experimenting / learning the rules for both units and missions etc for a couple of weeks with these factions. Here were the rules / playing conditions.....
+Winner stays on (started with Ultra's vs Black Legion)
+Used the same board and battle field scenery layout for all games.
+Mission type using the 6th ed rule book is randomly selected "after lists are selected" using a d6. Selected after lists to maintain fairness.
+Warlord traits are randomly selected using a D3 and then D6
+Deployment Type is randomly selected using a D3
+Satrting side is random by rolling a dics for each team and the highest starts and gets set up first (obviously this is not 100% unbias as im setting up both sides). table edge is then selected by rolling a dice for each team and a scatter dice. the highest number gets the edge closest to the scatter dice direction.
Right so getting to the point lol and considering the above factors ive been playing these practice battles and tried to be as unbias in my gameplay with all the armies not favouring one side to win and trying to be most effective with the units on either side and letting the roll of the dice determine the results.
So anyways the Ultramarines list i selected to cut a long story short has obliterated all the others, the closest fought battle was against the imperial guard were the Ultramarines got crushed by Earthshakers and battle cannons lol I know you would ideally want to see all the army Lists but ill give you a brief version of the Ultramarines list below. Feel free to tell me what you think of this list....
