Partly it was the talent that creeped me out ... the attention to detail but mostly it was just the numeracy.
But I see the point, boobs are afterall the greatest marketing strategy in the history of the world.
Seriously through, the fem commissar, cool and possibly fluffy if you want an all girl regiment. But topless, I would be embarrassed to paint it.
If someone wants all their army to be stark naked bazooka chicks, fine, just don't get annoyed when people give you funny looks or vocalise like I did.

Yeah, I think my wife would be very concerned/disappointed if I was painting and displaying naked minatures... Its bad enough now lol.
However I do agree they are good. Would it be entirely possible to use green stuff to clothe them? That comissar for example would be a good addition to any army!

They all seem very well done, and the other minis look pretty good too. That tech wizard character would be a good regimental advisor for a CCS, but the nekkid girls aren't really something I would want to paint. A dominatrix style commissar might be okay for a weird regiment that "likes to take orders" and having boobies on your team might distract your opponent while Marbo does some damage in the backfield, just not for me.

While tiny lumps of molded plastic aren't really degrading to anybody...
sometimes the ideas they inspire can be.
Ah but this hobby is supposed to be fun, boobies are fun, some people should lighten up.
Try not to be too offended ladies...it's just plastic...
...
and I'm sure Brother Vinnie takes good care of the all the slave girls he has locked in his dungeon at home.

I'd get naked minis in plastic so that I had a form to sculpt around that already had finished hands and a face. If these girls were a little flatter in the chest and were in more combative poses, I might buy some. The ones that are all have strange, baggy pants.

Ah but this hobby is supposed to be fun, boobies are fun, some people should lighten up. Try not to be too offended ladies...it's just plastic... You speak with great authority but don't seem to give a reason beyond "because everyone should lighten up" If I started writing fan fiction about my officers raping some Ukranian slave girls with large breasts and soft soft skin, and warm, curvy bodies l, tied up in suggestive poses, their mouths saying no but their eyes saying yes... Wait, what was I saying? Where am I?

You should see his website. "Ukranian slave girl" is far too specific for my tastes.... Its for GWs new game Rapehammer! Maybe it's for a scenario-specific game inspired by Matt Ward's snuff ficition, I mean, chapter about the GK murdering the Battle Sisters? While tiny lumps of molded plastic aren't really degrading to anybody... sometimes the ideas they inspire can be. Ah but this hobby is supposed to be fun, boobies are fun, some people should lighten up. Try not to be too offended ladies...it's just plastic... Thing is, it might not be as funny for the thousands of women (nor men, for that matter) that are raped every day. Do I find these offensive? Not really. Do I find them tasteless and pointless? Yes. Are they really well made? Disturbingly so. This hobby has enough weirdness stamps all over it already. Doesn't really need another one.

You speak with great authority but don't seem to give a reason beyond "because everyone should lighten up" Because they should. and if I happen to come off as sounding like any kind of expert at anything, I assure it was by accident. If I started writing fan fiction Please don't...but you could, god knows I wouldn't read it...I don't care for those kinds of things. You could though and I would defend your right to express yourself...so long as you're not acting out on your vile and disgusting urges in a way that brings harm to the public, and you are using your fiction as a means of release without hurting anyone or shoving it in their faces. So yeah, that's my totally non expert opinion on the matter. We have a choice about what we want to read, what we spend our extra dollars on, and the types of people we decide to associate ourselves with. I would give anyone else the same luxury...so long as they're not doing it in way that interferes with my own choices. Cross that line and you'll find that I quickly loose all sympathy...but what you do behind closed doors is your own business. This might mean that from time to time you see something or hear of a thing that might make you feel a little uncomfortable...and I am sorry for that, but outrage probably won't help. Then again, there is always the oppertunity to spread awareness if you'd like to put your emotions to a more constructive use...otherwise it might be healthier for you to simply attempt move on, find something else to take your mind off your troubles. I'm sorry the world isn't perfect yet.... I will continue trying to do my best to help.

Ahh, as much as I appreciate the above, my original post was in satire, it was not my intention to call you out on anything. Equally my original opinion still stands, I was only commenting due to public nature of the forum inviting it. And yes, people should lighten up.

Does 40K have slash fan fiction? The idea of a basement dweller writing "the Grey Knight and the Battle sister" seems pretty realistic to me.

But don't people also deserve to be comfortable and not be exposed to things that might offend them!?
Sometimes I believe the best solution would be for everyone to simply kill off all the people they don't like. I think that would solve a lot of the world's problems.
So, yeah...worldwide cage match...to the death!!
The way I see it, you either don't sweat the small stuff....
or F everything, it's all gotta burn.

For you as a, presumebly, male gamer these things might not be a problem. For a twelve year old girl who walks into a game store for the first time because she's curious about gaming and sees this, it probably is. One of the reasons that there are fewer female gamers is because most games and minis are by men, for men which means that most stuff isn't as fun for women to play as for men. Which is said, because if for no other reason, the average gamer girl have better personal hygiene than the average gamer boy. And, what the f? Why am I standing on a soapbox? Here, lemme climb down and show you have to really burninate things.

the average gamer girl have better personal hygiene than the average gamer boy. True story. They have been times (notably school holidays or bank hol weekends) when the smell of BO is god awful. All GW stores and gaming clubs should have an emergency can of deodorant for shower dodgers! Spray it in their eyes as a lesson in hygiene!

Problem is, who decides what the "small stuff" is? Exactly... if left up to the individual to decide, we will surely end up with something that looks like Mortal Kombat III. I guess that's why we have courts and judges and laws and stuff...and why people like vinni aren't rounded up and locked away for crimes of tastelessness.
