Or that i also like salamanders for space marines and if they could work together but their story says that the unsettle other people since their so morose so if anyone plays krieg or just flat out knows more then i do please comment ;D

The book 'dead man walking' is rather blah, there is a new short novel on black library about the death korps. There is the new cain novel 'the greater good' with some dkok fluff about death riders.
You could always use them as another regiment but with dkok models.

Traditionally, the Death Korps distrust the mutant populace of the Imperium and think they are inferior compared to themselves i.e. Ogryns, Ratlings, Psykers for the most part so that is mainly the reason you don't see them on the army lists from Imperial Armour.
However, that does not have to stop you from doing whatever you want to do with your army, there are always exceptions. For example you can use the standard IG codex just using DK figures, which will allow you to use Chimera's, Ogryns, Ratlings, etc. It is entirely up to you when it comes down to it. The I.A. rules are very out of date and are pretty much designed for the specific campaign in the books (Siege of Vraks). Most of us just go by the normal IG codex since GW actually keeps rules, lists, and point values up to date with current editions of the game.
Hope this helps out.

Hey guys thanks for all the info. It honestly gives me some new ideas like the plague ogryns from forgeworld could be just regular ogryns who feel like theyve shamed themselves in the eyes of the emperor. Also does krieg use alot of tanks like the leman russ and executioner? I always see transports and artillery but i barely ever see them with just regular tanks. And macknight im gonna have to look into those books now!

I would recommend using the FW renegade ogryn berserkers, they have masks already.

Renegade Ogryns are pretty boss. Death Korps do use a vast amount of armor and artillery. They are mainly a foot slogger army, but that does not stop them from having some devastating armor on the field as well.

Despite what yuo may here to the contrary, the lexicanum is a compilation of existing fluff, there is very little in the way of non-canon, and where it is it is mostly pointed out as being such. Using the lexicanum is almost the same as using all of the publications it is sourced from.
TD;DR, yes, go right ahead.

Sounds good, the DKOK and Salamanders are opposites of the spectrum (sallies are pro humanity whilst DKOK are clearly nihilistic) but the two would work well together in an attrition?siege type environment,..
As for the Ogryns, I agree as posted earlier, perhaps renegade or regular ogryns mate. If using regular you can convert, etc...

Well the story i found has the death korps fighting as part of a crusade and getting the roght to settle a planet. So from the crusade they could have met space marines and moat likely fought with ogryns and see how both fight and stuff and i do agree about the sallies they love humanity mire then any other chapter but i think theyd understand if told the story of the korps homeworld.

DKOK fluff is gimdark TO THE MAX. DoK won't settle planets, unless the planet has trenches and razorwire everywhere. They're bred for war. All they do is war. They may as well be robots.

Thats why they liked it haha it was overrun by orks and their bastions just became citys overtime and in perpetual war with the orks

that seems...questionable. DKoK are a strange regiment, they seem to be one of the few forces that gets equipped with the same or very simlar kit as their home planet supplies, they also use a lot of cloning to maintain their forces so wouldn't see them settling a world :/
I've also not seen the DKoK have any opinion in the Vraks books, their main idea is to just advance against the enemy untill they are dead or the enemy is. They are very loyal to the Emperor and do hate mutants, I personally feel the DKoK would be more likely to shoot(actually their more likely to bayonet) ratlings and ogryns. They purge any mutants caused by the cloning...
Also in Vraks they have attached large numbers of tanks, they use the infantry in attrition but they then need the tanks to rapidly advance through the breach and to try and ensure the enemy can not counter attack.

Their ade always acceptions haha like the Commissar (i forget his name) who has like an entire book series about him is only out for his own skin half the time while other commisars would love to lead their men to a glorious end. Even though its 40000 years in the future they are still just men who are all different from eachother. but thats just how i like to see it

so were men 100 years ago, we still had millions volunteer to go to the trenches in ww1.
Death Korps aren't really men any more, they are just flesh fighting for the imperium. Their so indoctrinated in the imperial faith that they believe nothing else than to die for the emperor in any way they see fit. If you add in free will to that...the imperium sort of falls apart. I see it as more free will theh igher up the chain you go but I don't see the DKoK having any freedom.
