Would anyone have problem playing against me if I used Landspeeders modelled with Guard drivers/gunners? I would be using the appropriate weapons and troops, I just like the idea of using sentinels as helicopter style gunships as opposed to walkers?

I think the Landspeeder is alittle better than sentinel. But would you change the points cost for the landspeeder or would it remain the same?

I think he means he wants to use Landspeeders as sentinels (using their rules and points). I wouldn't have a problem with that. It'll give a good oppurtunity to do some good conversions. In WD few years back a guy had done an Airborne army with everything in Lanspeeders. His troops were in stretched landspeeders that he used as Chimeras and he even had a landspeeder armed with a battle cannon that he used as a Leman Russ.

Thanks AddictiveWoz...that is exactly what I meant. I wasn't going to use the Landspeeder rules, just the mini's to make for some interesting conversions. Never really been fond of the "Chicken Walker" Sentinel.

Somewhere on this forum is some pics of sentinals modeled as jeeps and they look really good. I think you can use anything just make sure you opponent knows what they are before you start playing a game.
