If anyone plays salamanders on here have u heard anything about them having a pdf codex or any special rules? I want to play space marines but they are the only chapter i like since they seem to actually like humanity haha

No codex as such, it's mainly just a CC style of play / theme in which you field flame and fusion based weapons. If you field Vulkan He'stan he provides additional spec rules too.
FW are supposed to be releasing the HH Book 2 entitled Massacre soon which will include the Sallies so fingers crossed

Rumours are abound in that the upcoming Spess Muhreens dex will allow flamers to re-roll to wound, and meltas re-roll to pen with Sallies. Characters will get a free master-crafted upgrade to a weapon too. Vulkan He'stan will allow meltas to become twin-linked. Needless to say I'm excited for both the marine dex and the HH book

Sallies are also supposed to get the ability to re-roll their own Armour Saves against Melta and Flamer weapons.

I hope they are not accurate. The UM looks overpowered and the Raven Guard one looks a little underpowered Underpowered? So an entire Space Marine army with Stealth is underpowered? Here is what you can do with that: 6x5 Tacs with Skyfire Missile Launcher 6 Razorbacks with Las/Plas 3 Preds with 2 Las 1 Autocannon 3 Dreads [or any other good shooty elite unit] with Missile/Twin Linked Las Libby Skyshield Landing Pad 1750pts You put the whole army on and around the pad with the walls up, your whole army [because the pad should be big enough] gets a 2+ cover save. 3+ from Fortification, +1 for Stealth. Add to that; Untill it gets FAQ'd you cant actually ignore cover on vehicles [because they dont take wounds]. Youve got overwhelming firepower that is next to unkillable. If anything did manage to hit your lines you still have the whole issue of it being a nightmare to actually assault up a Skyshield because its so big that when your at the base of it, you cant actually see whats on top of it so you cant charge them. Still think Raven Guard are underpowered?

LOL that seems like a thingy move. But what happens when you have to take objectives? Can a vehicle even leave the landing pad?

Not this garbage again. Vehicles take Cover Saves "exactly like a non-vehicle model would do against a Wound." Anything else affecting Cover keys off of that.
And isn't the Cover Save off the Skyshield's baffles just a 4+ for a Parapet or something, same as a Bastion? Only the legs give 3+ Cover as far as I can tell.
Barrage Weapons would end you, too, since they just bypass the Cover, and you're going to be bunched up enough that the extra Hits will overcome the 4++.
Not saying that Armywide Stealth isn't awesome, just that this particular build isn't all that.

Stealth would be awesome on everything but that list isn't the bet as any tau player would end you and pretty much any army with ordanance as weary said but hey allies and fists will get their own supplements so I'm happy

I thought about it a little more and it might not be so bad. I suppose I just keep thinking, they are Marines and have a 3+ save anyway.
The Ultramarines one is still over powered I think. If it is accurate, you pretty much twin link everything because they are BS 4 to begin with. Side bonus means pretty much no more gets hot.
I hope Guard gets something nice. On Faeit, it says baneblades will be added to the codex, but it is so far away I don't know if it is worth believing.
