Hehehe... Anyway... I have been into Outpost today and talked to the Assistant manager. It would cost £15 between us, for the entire day, and there is room to comfortably fit 16 on the upstairs gaming tables, meaning each pair playing would get a 6 by 4 table. This also includes Lunch and £80 in prizes for say, the top 4 players Plus, a tastey 20% discount on the stores Stock, which covers GW, Mantic, Scibor, etc. To me, this sounds like a bloody godsend, also the fact it isn't GW means that you don't strictly need GW Models And they may also be Employing me Today was good! Dave that sounds awesome Dave, if the date is spaced enough from Paradil's Armageddon thing I would go to that. September might be plausible.

Any time after June is good for me as I'll be living in Rotherham by then. September might cause a problem depending on the date.

Do you know what bits of September would be good for you? Like early or late, or is it a bit random?

If Dave and Lupus are in, I'm game for Sheffield.
Lupus so I can hang out.
Dave whom I can hit on.
Also, I used to live in Sheffield, be nice to see how she's changed.

I do like Nottingham, albeit only because it has a comfy place where my Father is happy to sit and relax with a book and a cuppa, but otherwise I imagine that Sheffield would be alright. It certainly sounds rather good.
And congratulations on getting the job Dave!

Dave, your new mission is to locate a comfy space for Shostak's dad. And before you think of anything evil, I remind you that Shostak's dad is a really cool dude.

By the way, I can't come if there's no kettle... I need a cup of tea at least once every 15 minutes.

I may need bacon cobs every day for breakfast. It depends on whether Dave's store has facilities/ allows people to bring drinks on the gaming tables. If not we'll have to nip out for occasional snacks.
Congratulations on the job, Dave.

Ok, looks like this may well end up in a double meet up getting planned at this rate! Sheffield should be fine for me on condition of getting the time off work. I'll update the initial post with the details - Dave, if you can find out any other relevant details about the place I'll include those too (e.g. location in sheffield, proximity to bus/train station, distance from/to meadowhall might be worth knowing...) Congratulations on the job front from me too

Ok, things seem to have stalled a little... Dave, if you're able to confirm the availability of 'the Outpost' in Sheffield, let me know by PM (or preferably post details here). If I don't hear anything in the next week, I'll look into times that it could be held at GW HQ. So if anyone has any preferences for dates, or dates they need to avoid, let me know (again, preferably post here, but PM me if you want to keep it private). This also resolves issues such as a reasonably central location (no north south bias) and having somewhere appropriate for my personal hero: Shostak's Dad. Comments on a postcard

Dave, get on it. If you need any help PM me. Sheffield is the way to go. The dates would be the biggest issue for me. Before I move might be a problem after won't.
