You can do fine with most of the Pact factions for a solo nationality deck, and the US, France, and (depending on your skill) Sweden both do alright. I actually run national decks as a rule when I play, with the ocassional thematic mix (North American deck, Scandinavian deck, etc)

Britain is just too anemic. Challenger is seriously underpowered, so is Chieftan, our fighters are okay mid-range brawlers but have no real standoff, and apparently the RAF regards SEAD, napalm and PGMs as ungentlemanly weapons. Probably because the French use them.

It was a 3v3 game. I outplayed the guy on my flank from the start (also had luck on my side a few times) and killed 3 of his command vehicles through a combination of effective recce, air strikes, and a bit of educated guessing. He ragequit. The two others try to triage that flank, I pick up two more CV kills and rush 8 cheap tanks in to push them off the flank totally. Guy #2 ragequits. I move a CV into their starting flank zone and start calling in units while I and another player begin a sweeping flank push. Guy #3 Ragequits. I ended up with over 2800pts in kills and about 810pt in losses. God, I love cheap infantry.
Also, RT and I force our fair share of ragequits when we play as a team, usually at least one every other match.

They have to be in the right position, usually at the edge of forests or on a mountain face with little obstructions. You also need to take units with "Very Good" or "Exceptional" optics. Aside from that, it's learning the maps, and where to place units. Some enemy units, do their size or stealth, will be hard to spot until you're right on top of them.

You and Soap should play against AI. I'm having trouble with Desynch issues against AI at the moment.
Kerbal's a ball, though. I'd recommend picking it up.

Ad, I saw the screenshot you took of your armored deck and... uh... Well, try this instead. It's US/UK/France Pre-1980 Armored deck. steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=146158255It offers you 45 more infantry squads, over 100 more tanks, more AA and planes, and gives you actual recce and arty to call on. It sacrifices a slight bit of effectiveness compared to a post-1980 deck, but you get much, much more of everything, and a better price range of units. Remember, having 2-4 super elite units is great, until you lose them and have no tanks left in your tank deck. Reds

Its a WIP, my recces are always useless and a waste of points. I dont use arty cause they run out of ammo too fast, 8 planes is more than enough. I have plenty of AA and the last game I played I didnt lose 1 tank, as their elite they get a kill nearly every single shot. Infantry I now only use to defend or reinforce the back line so the amount I have is fine. I'll perfect it soon enough the screenshot I sent you was literally one I just made before leaving.

Don't confuse an inability to use recce with them being worthless. Besides, how will you learn if you don't take them? I was throwing the deck out there as a general purpose one, that can be used on large and small maps, and against max difficulty AI or competent humans. At the very least, you should drop a CV packet and add more logistics. There's no point in having 2 FOBs when you only have 6 units to relay supplies. Then again, I don't use an FOB at all, so I'm probably bias. Reds

I thought about that but cv die so easily I'm worried I'll run out. And FoBs have grown on me. I was torn between 2 fob and 6 chinnys or 1 and 12. Then I thought 1 fob will only resupply 5 chinnys...
Doing the math 1 fob and 12 chinnys gives 2000 more fuel... il change that later
As for recce, I pop em on the mountain between the two mid spawns on highway and they cant see units spawning in OR coming out of the bases (toward them) they did however take 20+ arty strikes and not die... dumb ai didnt send in any gunships

Sending gunships against dug-in infantry is usually a hilariously bad idea. The spot distance for choppers is pretty much on the edge of their rocket's minimum range.

I discovered something vastly amusing today. If you fight two enemy AI by yourself, your deck gets doubled when you hit "start".
I also discovered two hard AIs aren't really able to cope with 40 veteran M1s.

So, last night I had a 1v1 vs easy AI. Now, as should be expected vs easy, I had a good victory. As Brits, I captured three points, plus the starting position. And held three other positions denying the enemy the ability to take them. The game ended with them holding their start and one other position.
My ground to air cover was spot on. I had both anti air support choices deployed in various heavy cover locations, backed up by troops anti air. But I did struggle with air to air combat - the attacking jets have done there damage before iv had chance to scramble my fighters. However, most times my ground to air destroyed the enemy fighter / bombers, even if they had done damage to my forces.
I think I am going to have to take FOB, as I feel if i can reload my chinnocks it would be better than just pumping out cargo trucks all the time - although I do find they are useful when advancing the front line. I like the ability of being about to resupply and fall back quickly.
Attacking a position I found wasnt as hard as expected. I pushed mixed armour forward using cover with supply trucks, anti air support, and a recon vehicle. Pounded enemy units with force, and when AA was taken out called in air support.
Problems I had was dealing with enemy helicopters. They had this ability to pop up, kill something then disappear again. Also using my air craft in an anti air role was near Imposable due to speed of enemy attacks or due to the number of jets they would throw my way at once.
So, like I said it was easy, but I think I'm getting to grips with things. Just a few points to iron out.

British jets suck in this, I've gone for all nations as it seems no one nation is great at everything. .And you don't often use all your troops anyway.
I take a few chinnys instead of a FoB then when their used and em to the corner so they don't die.
