Hello guys, I was advised to take Coaxial Heavy Stubbers on my Leman Russ Vanquishers from IA1's Armored Battlegroup. After looking closer I believe there are no Coaxial Heavy Stubbers, only Coaxial Storm Bolters, is this worth it?

They must have taken that option out, it was in the older versions. A Coax Storm Bolter is still worthwhile. 75% chance of twin-linking your main gun is pretty good.

I know I've seen it somewhere in there... Maybe it's just on the command tank? I'll look into it when I get home and have access to the book.

The command tank says: "A Vanquisher's Vanquisher Battle Cannon may have: - Co-axial Storm Bolter or Heavy Stubber"
I don't know if both are Co-axial, or just the Storm Bolter... but the troop tank clearly states: "A Vanquisher's Vanquisher Battle Cannon may have: - Co-axial Storm Bolter - Heavy Stubber"
Which leads me to believe neither can have a co-axial heavy stubber.
Is the Storm Bolter worth it? With only 2 shots and a 24" range?

They are both coaxial. Later in the entry it gives the option for a Pintle mounted heavy stubber.
The way they have it worded right there is under the same coaxial entry, it's gotta be it.

What about for the troop version? It is pretty clear that the Storm bolter is Coaxial, but the Heavy Stubber is not.

I would suspect it is... Forge World's books are terrible when it comes to editing. For example, in Aeronautica, the Ork Flakk Trakk doesn't actually list Flakka Gunz on the models equipment list. I'd imagine you can get the Coax Heavy Stubber.

If it says coaxial heavy stubber or storm Bolter like it did in the command entry, then yes.

If it says coaxial heavy stubber or storm Bolter like it did in the command entry, then yes. That's the thing, I quoted both exactly as it was written and neither say Co-axial Heavy Stubber.

hmmm, looking in the book that is really annoying. Anyone know if there's an FAQ out for this?

I don't know where an FAQ for Forgeworld would be, but it's not on GWs site.

Huzzah! You can take a Coaxial Heavy Stubber!
Someone please explain why a Heavy Stubber is cheaper than a Storm Bolter haha.

Does seem like they messed up or something. Better option for cheaper? Win! Also, good find!
