Hello Ladies and Gents, It is I, Major Downer and I am back on the painting wagon! So after 6 months out, I decided to start again after seeing Cosmic update on the work he is doing for others. So I thought I would buy the 2013 Forge World event Mini, The DKOK Quatermaster. So this is him so far, I decided to do the Plasma glow because I havent done it before, If you have any pointers, hook me up please! I think I got the idea down pretty well, but I think I need to blend it in better.     Give it to me! Cheers Major Downer |

Welcome back buddy  He looks ace  I can't really pass judgment on the Plasma Pistol as it is beyond my skills  But in my opinion, it looks pretty good! Overall, a good piece to bounce back with mate Dave |

Sweet You need to white edge the entire edge that is lostest to the plasma core to get it all glowy. It looks like you've got the layering/blending down well though. That model is seriously cool |

Looking great mate. You're always improving! With OSL you always need to keep the source the brightest. So in this case the middle of the coils need to be pure white as they are the source, and then the edges of the shroud around them need to still be bright, but not pure white |

Great paintjob , i didn't know they sold the exclusive event figs online? You can almost always pick them up on eBay after someone goes and buys about 20 at the shows and then flogs them on there. |

Top notch! The coat and uniform looks really good! And the OSL is looking great! Not to sure regarding the reach of the light, but technically speaking it looks good!

Very nice! While I'm generally not a fan of the glowing plasma coil look, you pulled it off quite nicely on this mini. Also, love the crud crusted onto the hem of the cloak. |
