Hi
I see in the codex the manticore carries 4 rockets and it says 1 rocket can be fired each turn.
However with Ordnance Barrage D3, does that mean if I roll 6 on the D3, I get 3 shots with the Manticore on that turn? If so does that mean I only have 1 rocket left in total?
Looking forward to getting some clarity on this one.
Cheers Mat

It's one shot. I'm sure the D3 roll is to determin how big the blast radius is. Eg D3 being 3 inch blast, D1 being a 1 inch blast.

Soap, you're thinking of the DeathStrike.
The Manticore always uses the Large Blast. Gets d3 Large Blasts each time it fires, may fire 4 times. So you get a total of 4d3 Blasts, in 4 "bundles" over the course of the game.
Unless it gets blown up first, of course.

Yes, the Manticore is basically an MIRV (ie, multiple warheads in one missile), except completely unreliable. Two thirds of the time, not all the warheads actually go off!

Oh right, in that case I may need to invest in one! Will look sexy next to my death strike

Wow lolwut thanks guys this weapon is better than I realised:)
So just to confirm.
Assuming I got lucky with my D3s I could potentially get 4 lots of 3 shots for a total of 12 large blasts on the enemy.
And if I get 3 blasts on the D3 do I do 3 rolls with the direction dice and d6s on the same target? Or just 3 hits on same spot based on where first one landed?
sorry for the nubby questions but I am a nub^^

Normally you would, but in this case the attacks use the multiple barrage rules, not the multiple blast rules. This means that you scatter the first blast, then further blast templates are 'flipped' towards the direction of the scatter die arrow. Pg 34 explains this far better than I can in my paraphrasing. Also remember, as it is barrage, the casualties are removed from where the blast hits, not the direction of the firing unit.
