Since I've shifted my attention away from Gross Waste... I mean Games Workshop... and towards pulp gaming, I decided that a good place to make some pulp scenery was some good old fashioned horror movies. What is pulp without a scary castle, after all? The Keep in the eponymous movie looks like this: I'm going to start this project after my master's thesis (or during, who knows?) but there is one issue that I'm intent on tackling now. As you can see, the wall is all bricks and shiz. Now, the question is: what material should I use? I do not have ready access to plasticard, so the product will probably end up having to be foamcore. I can only get plain foamcore, however. So would scoring it to resemble bricks be viable? Also, I heard that when I do do that, it warps when I undercoat the stuff. In short... suggestions?

Honestly? I'd say build the basic structure from foam core, and then see if you can find a place that sells brick patterned plasticard that you can apply over the basic structure. I would not try to carve a brick pattern onto the foam core... A quick Google search for brick patterned plasticard returned this seller: www.anticsonline.co.uk/1723_1.html
