Yep. He's all geared up to take out high quality Units, but is seriously lacking in Horde Control. Autocannon and Missiles have range enough that he can't hide from them without rendering himself useless, a couple of hidden Power Axes in each Blob should be enough to cope with anything that tries to Assault. Add some Plasmaguns to make the mid-ranges even more dangerous, and plenty of ablative dudes and an Aegis Line to fill it all out.

Load up on Colossuses to ignore the jet bikes and wave serpents jink saves.
Add in a hellhound to help along with a couple of banewolfs for killing his wraith guards (kill them dead!!)
Missile launchers and autocannons to clean up the rest
Even a couple of Hydras should worry him as its going to ignore his jink save on the wave serpents and crimson hunter
Pray you get first turn!!

The Colossus is decent against Jetbikes (They tend to come in small enough Squads that they can easily spread out enough to minimize damage from Blasts), but just a terrible choice for taking on Wave Serpents. Ignores Cover doesn't make up for needing 6s to Glance the thing.
Not saying it's bad against this Army, it's also a good choice against the WraithGuard and Warp Spiders, but don't point it at the Wave Serpents unless there's nothing else to shoot.
Hydras are excellent against Wave Serpents as long as you can keep them alive.

Good point, for some reason I was thinking that the Wave Serpents side armour was AV10.
Against AV12 its going to be useless!!
Talking to a few guys in the local area who actually run full Wave Serpent spam lists, the only thing that currently worries them is dedicated assault troops (that and hive guard! DAM you hive guard!!)
I still think HH and BW will do the trick if you keep them alive

I was thinking about Leman Russ Eradicators, given the other thread, but most of the obnoxious stuff is tough enough that ignoring Cover isn't going to be as good as taking away the Armour Save/actually being able to damage the AV reliably.
Russes in general might be a good idea. Most of his Bright Lances are also in his most fragile Units, and solid Screening can keep the WraithGuard away for a critical turn. And they're basically immune to the Wave Serpents.

If this guy has any sense those war walker will be out flanking so keep your tanks in cover because otherwise they dead. For jet bikes take an eradicator by far the best tank for the job. Banewolf for his wraiths. If you keep away from his wraith guard and pop his serpents erly enough they won't be a problem just watch your tanks when the walkers come on and you will easily beat this army

If he's a tentative player and likely to keep his War Walkers back then I'd load up on a 3xScout Sentinel Squad. You could either keep them cheap and nasty or fork out a tiny bit extra for the autocannon upgrade, outflank and bye bye War Walkers. Alternatively since they are so squishy you could always field two lots of 2xScout Sentinels for this role, either outflanking both or keeping one squad back for home defence. Just don't expect them to stick around for long with all those scatter lasers and shuriken cannons hanging around. The only thing that may save them is that they are not a priority target which always messes with my opponents. Captain Zapp Brannigan: Stop exploding you cowards!!
