Well it was released yesterday, and it's ok...
Not amazing, not awful. I was hoping for a bit more from it though, what about you lot that have it too?
The cameras on the shoulder are a great little touch, but that doesn't make up for the basicness of the game. I believe they're going to release a way to customise every Terminator, but I can't be sue on that, I hope so though!

It's good for me because I haven't had much chance to play Space Hulk but I did really enjoy that game 33f3ct Gm'd for us in Mansfield. Also the graphics aren't top notch but that means that my laptop can run it (and to be honest I don't play games for the graphics). As for game play and content it is a faithful conversion of the boardgame, you get what you'd get if you had bought a copy of that (except it isn't artificially limited).
The down side is you can probably do all the single player stuff in a day. I haven't tried the multi-player stuff yet so that could be fun but I'm pretty bummed that you can't say, re-skin your terminators as something other than Blood Angels (maybe in multi-play), or that they didn't put together a second campaign.
There is also an in game store. The only DLC so far is the Hive Kraken skin for the gene-stealers which you got as a Steam freebie.
All in all I'd say wait until the price drops because it is probably overpriced as it is unless you really want to play some Space Hulk. If you do just want to play some Space Hulk and you don't mind the sparsity then go for it.

Yeah, I'm waiting until a sale to pick this up, if I get it at all. The review I read on Rock Paper Shotgun was unkind, and what I'm hearing elsewhere is sort of reinforcing that.

So, thanks to the generosity and general awesomeness of Kommissar Orren, I've played Space Hulk.
The "Short" review is that it's not like the board game, it's more like Diet XCom, but with more confined fighting and without all the non-mission stuff (research, customization, etc). There are tense moments, yes, but overall, you're mostly waiting until a bolter jams for anything exciting to happen. The game's also taken a page out of the Bloodbowl game's book, and instead of making the AI smarter on higher difficulties, it just tweaks the odds for dice rolling to make jams more likely.
It's worth $15, wait until it's on sale for that.

I think it is good if you;
A) Don't have the game B) Don't have anyone to play it with
Obviously if I had made it, it would be a first person shooter, with customizable weapons loadouts, battle honours and a cool voice effects then I could shout CLEANSE THE XENOS FILTH! and it'd come out sounding all terminatory.
Which is probably why I don't work in the games industry.
