The paint job=yes, well done and weathered, the conversion=not really, the front area where the dozer suppose to be looks weird. Are you on dakkadakka.com ? I recently joined and its a miniature painter's paradise, lots of cool paint jobs and insperations, lots more active members for critique of your work. |

Thanks for the color guide! And it looks like you got your hands on one of the older model Leman Russ Exterminator, and switched the autocannons into lascannons, as well as an old school tank commander... I approve!  I happen to like the glacis plate conversion on the tank, using that Chimera part, because it makes the front armor of the Russ more uniform looking. |

Macknight, we are not in DakkaDakka we should visit the site  1974 Thansk for your coment. You are right, is an old model. We bought it long time ago xD We have a new unit for play Taros Campaign. That Heavy bolters unit has been painted with desert colors and base like all Elysian. You can see more pictures here. Do you like it? |

I don't have the Tauros book, but I didn't know elisions could take tanks

Greetings and welcome to the board. Great work on the painting, I strive for excellence such as this. The sandbags on the tank turret are a great touch and the extra armor on the front is nice as well. I have to say your rust effects are very well done. My only real criticism is that the heavy bolters on the Leman Russ show a rough join of the halves which you could address if you felt ambitious. I recognize it as being the first generation kit based on the heavy bolters and turret hatch (I have been collecting Guard for quite a while). I look forward to seeing more of your work.

The only thing that stands out of place to me is the tip of the gun barrel, its way too shiny, perhaps darken it with black wash and then black powder. The rest looks on the spot.

Those are something special my friend!I've been a fan of the Elysians since I saw them in White Dawrf.. but, you my friend, in my honest opinion; produce them to a higher standard than the forge world display team.. There's something about your scheme that screams 'gritty, tough, air deployed, vets'that forge world just didn't get quite right.. Glad to have you amongst us here Comi  Job very well done! Dave |
