I appreciate the tips. Unless I am reading this wrong, I realized you can actually take two inquisitors in the detachment. So I can take Coteaz and a xeno inquisitor psyker. As I type this I feel like I am trolling slightly. But really the divination tree is just so overpowered compared to the others and that is the problem. I think conversion beamer, Liber and some lascannon devastators is a better use of that build.

It gets kind of ridiculous, yeah. This is the first redraft of my SW+IG List since the INQ Dex came out. It's a modification, not a ground-up rebuild, and the base list was for a less than 100% competitive event, so it has lots of room for improvement:
A simple one to start, dropping the ThunderWolves from my OFCC List in exchange for a Power Blob, Coteaz, and a utility Ordo Xenos Inquisitor. Exactly who goes where will depend on who rolls up which powers, but I suspect the Ordo Xenos Inquisitor (for Grenades, and possibly Hammerhand) and Rune Priest (to push his Psychic Defense bubble forward) will typically go in the Power Blob, while Coteaz hangs out with the Shooty Blob.
Rune Priest 3 Wolf Guard, 2xCombi-Plasma, MotW 2x10 Grey Hunters, 2xPlasmagun, Wolf Standard, MotW 2 Land Speeders, 2xMulti-Melta, 1xHeavy Flamer 5 Long Fangs, 4 Missile Launchers
CCS, 4xPlasmagun Marbo PCS, 4xFlamer 3xSquad, 3xPlasmagun, 3xLascannon PCS 4xSquad, 4xMeltagun, 4xPower Axe, 4xMeltabombs Vendetta Girffon
Coteaz Ordo Xenos Inquisitor, 2 Servo Skulls, Rad Grenades, Psychotroke Grenades, Psyker, Force Sword

I just look at it from a fluff perspective as taking an inquisitor and interrogator... Or as two inquisitors whose investigations have caused them to work together (for instance one was hunting down a chaos cult, another a genestealer cult, and wouldn't you know it but the genestealers have infiltrated the chaos cult!). Then you have a fluff reason for the awesomeness that is multiple prescience psykers . Those xenos players who can't use Codex Inq will likely start crying OP soon (and they may not be too far wrong)... WE'll just have to wait and see what other kind of goodies future codexes entail.

I played a game against Inquisition and sisters with my guard and against the same list with an eldar one (not my army). My buddy did not really know what he was doing. He did not have any psykers special grenades nor deathcults in his deathstar. IG firepower being what it is, I made short work of them from a distance. With eldar though, I had some trouble even with 2 wave serpents. The priest makes the Henchmen deathstar near invincible in close combat. Rerolling invul saves verse 3 crusaders means they are guaranteed an attack. The only thing that kept me alive was a wraithlord that was slowly being killed by krak grenades. If he had a 5 point melta upgrade I would have been tabled.

Yeah, if there are Crusaders, you need to take those Henchmen down in Shooting. Re-rollable 3++ is tough to punch through.

Yeah, I'm inching closer to finishing my IG/Sisters + Inquisitor army. I'm pretty sure my list is terrible, but it seems awfully fun.

It isn't a bad combination. The sisters and inquisition both lack long range firepower, which the guard can easily add in. Also sisters are not that expensive

The Psyocculum is pretty nuts too. Harker, three snipers and another heavy bolter all at bs 10 against psykers is amusing.

Or toss it in a Blob. 4 Lascannon, 4 Plasmaguns, and 24 Lasguns at BS10 sounds even more fun You have to take a Hereticus Inquisitor instead of Xenos to pull that off, tho, which means you give up the cool Grenades. Definitely a trade-off to keep in mind if your Meta is suitable, tho. You'll absolutely wreck GK, Tzeentch Daemons, and some Eldar Builds.
