One reason why drugs are bad for you. Some years ago I knackered my back. Jolly painful and quite upsetting. I was prescribed a painkiller called Tramadol for a month or two. Tramadol, I’m sure many of you will know, is a strong opiate. So I remember being in less pain and far less miserable. Apart from reducing the perception of pain it gradually changed my perception of a few other things. But I don’t remember a great deal else. And whilst on my two month long “trip” I decided it would be fine to make up my own 40k rules and I bought this lot to put the rules into practice. There’s about 220 kasrkin models there and I have a few more floating about. They’re all meant to be the same green colour but some models arrived with such awesome paint jobs I didn’t have the heart to strip and repaint them. So the Tramadol didn’t make me totally unreasonable. A side effect of opiates is constipation which eventually became more painful than the back so I stopped taking it. That’s when I realised what I’d done. And I became miserable again. Especially after I checked my bank balance. And now I’m no longer on my anaesthetic high … I can’t remember any of the new rules that I thought up.

That's enough there to start a Star Wars clone army!

Please tell me what you'd do with them BGF. It may jog my memory.
As far as I remember I was going to use them as Elysians. Then I had this drug crazed idea about the "CIG" (Critical Intervention Group).
Damn ... I'd just started writing about the fluff behind the CIG and it suddenly occurred that I'd get a telling off as it should be in the Fluff section. So I've cut it out and made a new thread there. then I'll throw it up onto the Imperial Archive.
P.S. Did I imagine it or is there a thread somewhere where you can list all the IG models you own? I'm sure I saw it but I can't find it now.

Lol, I'm sure I'll get round to painting something after Xmas. Even the Archive has been put on hold until then.

Maybe you were going to use them in some kind of skirmish fighting on imperial cruisers, say orks. Boarded a cruiser and the karsikins have to battle them off of there own ship, etc. Tony A

That sounds a bit more like what you'd do with them?
A good little scenario though.
I'd like to think that in a thousand years or so that may be a role for my old unit.

There's only one thing you can do with it; a stormtrooper heavy army. Even then with double force org charts you can only use 60 at a time in a 2000 point game. It should be fun versus a marine infantry horde, despite being small and elite, unless they're hiding behind aegis lines.

Why not make a Storm Trooper Army List (HQ, FA, HS & Troops), and see about fielding it against your friends for some fun games You could always use the older rules for Hot-shot Lasguns, to add a little variety.

Beautiful. If I owned that many Kasrkins... Oh man. I have about 20 total right now. I know I was planning on having a group of ten per Imperial Guard regiment I was going to field. At the moment I own Cadians and Steel Legion, with 10 green Kasrkins for Cadians, and 10 tan ones for the Legion. Next up is Krieg which is in the cart now and I'll throw in an another ten painted to match there. Probably not where you were going with that but good luck, and don't feel bad- That's an awesome collection and you should do a Storm Trooper army for sure!

Luckily I didn't pay for them. They were given to me by a friend.
