Nice! I like the barbed wire too. The proper terrain pieces really give an army an oomph factor. And that titan... well...it's a titan. I think you could paint it in polka dots and people would still be impressed. And good lord those tanks. Do you have any of the forge world types? Ryza turrets and all that? Of course what's next is a Krieg Baneblade.

Also, have you seen what 7k USD looks like?

Only FW variants I have are two thunderbolts, two Macharius, and 1 vanquisher upgrade, I have a very large parking lot but most of them are standard Gw, so far I only have 1 shadowsword, I bought it buikt and painted so I'm going to add mud and battle damage,
As for terrain I also made a bunch of craters recently and purchased about 9 feet of trenches lol I'll post pics today or tomorrow! Thanks for the response, beginning to think no one would ever click on the link haha

Yep, I bought a Armageddon pattern Medusa and Basilisk, the command squad, the infantry squad, the commissar add on.. the extra command squad special weapons, and the heavy weapons autocannon team. I mean one of each. I had some shenanigans planned. 400 USD. Then I went and spent another 400 on all three vraks books, as well as the two masterclass model books. And then I decided I liked Mordians better, or it was easier just to buy troops rather than do shenanigans with the death korps.

Where did you get the trench sections?

Good Lord that is a lot of tanks! And a Baneblade! Have you ever played a game with all of them? After I finish my Mordians I'm going to make a Savlar army, so maybe I'll commit some heresy and make the death korp troops into chem dogs. Lots of conversions. However I'm perfectly willing to part with the medusa and the basililsk, however I should warn you that I got the kits and the upper structure of the turret was warped.

Hmmm I'm going to have to pass on the artillery, thanks though, sad to see those krieg troopers fight for the wrong side, I have a buddy doing the same. Shame lol, jk I bet they will look great, I'd love to play a game against a renegade guard player in. A huge tank battle and some trench warfare, couldn't get to the trenches today, most likely pics will be up tommorow, on here and on dakkadakka

yeah it looks spot on m8, I hate it when people buy titans and other large forge worldy things and then cop out on the painting, to me it a waste of £700 if you don't paint the thing properly.

Exactly, i didn't let it see the field until it was almost completely done, playing in a apoc game tommorow though, I'll be posting an after action report with lots of pics!!

Hey everyone I'm back for a little while, I just graduated from Marine Corps recruit training, so that's why this post hasn't been updated as much. I leave in about 2 weeks to school of infantry but in that time I will post as many pictures as I can ! Starting tonight hopefully, it's not all painted or completely built, I'm working on that but my death korps of krieg army army has basically doubled in size.
Just to get you excited
I have just about
260 dkok troopers (including plt command)
45 dkok engineers
70 dkok grenadiers
32 death riders
10+ dkok hvy weapons squads(and 2 plt command)
Over 100 tanks and artillery...
( there are 12 basalisk in there )
2 thunder bolts 1 lighting
1 reaver titan
Other fun stuff that is too much to list

Hey everyone it's been forever!
I'm sorry for the delay but I've been busy since I joined up with the marines, I'm on the east coast now and I am on the opposite side of the country from my army.


@ The Lightning! I can do my best explaining how to do it very soon it's very easy, I used a 1/35 scale panzer4 forces of valour I believe ( pre built) that broke.
Basically I removed the bottom of the turret to switch out the weapons, you'll have to Jerry rig it in there no special way really just a little shaving and good to go, the front
defensive machine gun I replaced with a stubber the front piece popped off, and it was an easy switch, the top hatch fit right into where I removed the top hatch from the top. It's easy! It was almost ment to be. The Vulcan turret I had extra from a baneblade .
Other than that, throw some imperial insignia on it to make it more 40k

I'm trying to get my army to this side of the country but i don't know when that will be so hopefully soon.

For anyone who wants to talk about death horoscope, hit me up. My army is huge and always growing I love them!

sorry about the super late response due to military activity but the games i have played with it have been great, its still hasnt gone down, so last time i painted it i put invictus maneo on it witch is i remain unvanquished or something i cant remember correctly lol but from i can remeber ive played apoc gams VS, orks and NIDs mostly, so its killed quite a bit of foot sloggers and big monsters, but it also has about 5 stompas, 2 skull hamma tank things and a couple of the really big tyranid monsters. its been really fun and i usually use my 30 death riders to protect its feet from the little creatures that sneak into its minimal range area where the titan cant see.

anyway im looking at getting at least 2 more bane blades / shadow swords,
im alwas open to more infantry, i need more artillerymen and vehicles to tow the artillery, so theres that but this wont happen for a while at least not till i settle in to m unit.
