Ok so I'm going to make this short, mostly cause I feel like crap. I've put off my terrain building since I moved some months ago and all hobby related items have stayed in their cupboard, I have however (my phone just replaced however with Bieber. .. depressing) had a will to make some terrain finally. The problem is this, when it comes to buildings I have absolutely no imagination! ! Is there anyone who would consider sketching a few ideas for me to use? I will be making this lot of terrain from foamcore, small squared sticks of mdf and fine chicken wire type stuff and it's for the underhive. Or would anyone know some resources to inspire me? I've searched Google for a few hours already but most pictures are blurry and taken from poor angles or the terrain just looks pants

I suggest making ruined buildings with corrugated cardboard. Easier to find than foamcore and all you need besides the cardboard is a knife (or even scissors) and white glue. To start small, make building corners or simple scrap walls: www.terragenesis.co.uk/infopages/page121.htmlAs for design, a trip to a fast-food place can net you various cup sizes and the curved lids used on ice-cream and frostees. Drinking straws and coffee stirrers make ok structural attachments. For atmosphere, add a few pieces and transfers from your bitz box. A spare lasgun, helmet, pack or canteen works wonders. Twist a knife in the walls to make splashy bullet holes.

I've made most of my scenery from card and it has lasted several years, loads of games and at least 3 house moves. In the below image you can see I made a few ruined corners of building, I also made a pipeline using plastic guttering pipe and an old crane toy from a charity shop, the river is hardboard painted blue (though I have revised this design as you will see after this weekend), here's a load of other card scenery I made a while back: Here's a load of card gravy tubs and other card packaging a card bunker and paper mache' boulders,

Youtube has some crazy good custom terrain builders using simple household products. That is always my go to resource when I get an idea. Also Miniwargaming has some of their video's posted on youtube as well.
