we're the Imperial Guard! (for now at least) and the only time we put the lasgun down is when we die...or get upgraded to a special weapon...or a shotgun...or a heavy weapon...or a pistol and CCW...but mainly only when we die.

I love how the rumor continues that they're going to replace finecast with plastic.
HAHAHA, I wonder how much THAT investment is going to cost them if they do.

Now the cost of all the range will go up by 25% and P&P by 10%. Oh and their excuse is the finecast has more airbubles making it lighted, the plastic has less making it weight more so royal mail charges more and all models must be sent via hillbilly from Nottingham.

Those of you on the eastern side of the Puddle of Unparalleled Greatness would have it easy in this scenario: In order to get it in the States, they'd have to send it to London by hillbilly, then down the Thames and across the ocean by way of message in a bottle, and then picked up in some port town in the Americas and delivered to your home by way of the Pony Express. I believe I just described FedEx's shipping process.

Not to be the bearer of boredom, but a conversation in real life lead me to believe that the ENTIRE stock market is going down. After what felt like an intelligent conversation I came to believe that the true nature of GW's stock's dropping is more along the lines of tax maneuverings in order for a tax payer to lower their net worth before the "feeding".
In a story with a happy ending, this would be a great time for those passionate about the hobby to seize control. ...Maybe I'll save up $5,000.oo for this time next year.

It must be more cost effective to pay to transport and melt them down and sell the metal than to run say a SALE!! Something like maybe a grab bag of 10 blisters for , $20 or $30 bucks. Many of you may not have been alive for it but back in the early '90s when I got into WHFB GW ran an end of year sell off of overstocked blisters. You got a grab bag of 10 for $20. This was all blisters so you could get some $10 to $15 blisters or you could get a couple of blisters of transfers worth $3. My son, two of his friends and I bought $100 worth (50 blisters)! When they came we had an NFL style draft to see who got what blisters. It was a ton of fun and each of us walked away happy with some great deals and additions to our armies. Ahhh, the good old days!
