Does anyone know if there is a breakdown somewhere of the relative pros and cons of the various Leman Russ tanks as a mount for a tank commander (with or without Pask)? I'm intrigued with the unit concept but I'm undecided about which tank benefits the most from a commander's BS and the option to split fire from his unit. Cheers

We're trying to write the definitive Imperial Guard/Astra Militarum tactica treatise here. There's a review of all the in-codex Leman Russ variants, Tank Commanders, and Pask written by yours truly. tl:dr, Tank Commanders are the most welcome on an Exterminator, Vanquisher, and Demolisher, while Pask is at his most frightening in a Vanquisher or a Punisher.

I find pask is an executioner doesn't let you take advantage of crack shot very well, however the prefered enemy is a major bonus especially if you have an executioner squad with him. Also why the demolisher? Because of the rerolls?

That, and the Full Throttle order to help get it into range. Pask doesn't do as much for the Demolisher as he does for a Vanquisher or Punisher (especially when you consider that Pask turns a crap tank like the Punisher into something that can literally kill anything on the board within 24" of his tank).
