Hey Selleck. Welcome to the forum! I've been building a Krieg force for years now. I run an assault brigade list with siege allies. I use the engineers as my allied troops choice so I can take my earthshaker cannons. I have 2 units of grenadiers, I don't have chimeras for them though may do so in the future to try. I also run a platoon of 45 infantrymen. The new rule for Krieg allowing them to ignore panic tests from shooting is an absolute god send. They just keep on going and your opponent will have to assault them if they want to shift them from an objective. Do remember though as stoic as the Krieg Korpsmen are they are only human so expect heavy losses but that's what they are there for! Hope that helps.

I've only played one game as DKoK and I ended up stuffing my list with a massive amount of artillery and 60 engineers each accompanied by a hades breaching drill. Sure it was an apocalypse game, but it was beautiful. commissar.proboards.com/thread/12954/6-feet

Hey buddy, did you find your way to run them? Honestly I mainly play apocalypse so I'll run my infantry many different ways, whether it's engineers softening the line and grenadiers moving in for the kill mounted in chimeras centuars or gorgons or even on foot trompming in behind the infantry. Some grenadier squads get lucky enough to fly in by valkyrie and get dropped into a city to accomplish a special mission. I run infantry waves in front of my tanks to take the brunt of the fire, and once killed move in from reserve to claim obj.s Or fill a gap in the line.
For me nothing will ever replace my standard ground and pound troopers.
