Just getting back into 40k, used to play IG in 3rd ed, with a brief foray into 5th but looking to get back into it again now. Can someone please clear up these changes for me?
Do sniper rifles still hit on a 2+, I can't find mention of it anywhere or has this been swapped for the Precision Shot rule, or is it both, and how does this affect snap shots?
Aka are Ratlings worth bothering?
Also is throwing Pask in a Punisher with three Heavy Bolters and a Heavy Stubber as fun as I hope it is? Did some quick maths and it seems ideal for transports and infantry, or even terminators.

They got rid of the 2+ rule, they just use BS now. Ratlings are an OK choice these days but are probably one of our weaker units.
I have not tried Pask in a Punisher yet, although I have heard it is fun. The short range can be a pain though, a dozer blade makes it easier to move through cover to get close to the target.
